theres a reason why the almighty father didnt give a specific time and date that Jesus Christ was born..the same also as Jesus didn't give a specific time and day when His coming back..therefore we well just celebrate His birth on december and prepare ourselves for His coming.
Many do celebrate Pentacost on Sivan 6 (50 days after Passover). God gave the Torah on Sivan 6,and I think God gave Jesus on the same day. Christmas is a commercial holiday celebrating a pagan Sol Invictus. And the feast of St, Nicolaus celebrates the good works of that ancient priest. But the most important celebrations should be about God's gifts. The next major gift to come is the Kingdom of God on the Earth.
8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Jesus is the reason for the Holiday Season! Jesus came to this earth to give us salvation or eternal life. This is his free gift to mankind. So lets remember Him this Christmas!
@alieninzurich Actually the belief is that Jesus was born in September during the Feast of Tabernacles, 6 mos after John the Baptist was born which was during the Passover which was in the spring. But Jesus is still the reason for celebrating Christmas even if it is in December. Its about his birth, death and resurrection and free gift of salvation to mankind.
We believe many of the OT prophecies were fulfilled in the mission, death, and resurrection of Jesus. We hope to spread throughout the nation that Jesus, the Messiah, is the only Saviour, and that Jesus will soon return to fulfill the rest of OT and NT prophecy.

Jesus was a Jew and born on the Jewish calendar. Like Passover, his birthday
varies with the lunar cycles.
