John Adams considered it the greatest service to his country to get those redcoats acquitted. The demonstrators pushed them up against a wall and left them with firing their muskets as the only way out.

British Soldiers and American Soldiers serve with equal bravery in Afghanistan - and I'm American.

Im British and I just want to point out that it realy shouldent be called a massacre Because the colonists nearly killed one on the soldiers by hiting him in the head with a rock and the soldiers gun fired when he drroped it not when he fired it so the outher soldiers fired as well because they thought there comander was fireing

Paul Revere's engraving is not accurate. The colonists were armed with rocks, ice, snowballs, clubs, oyster shells and what not. They were daring the British to fire and so they fired because they panicked and 7 were wounded. John Adams defended the soldiers and each of them got a branding on their arm as punishment. But this engraving shows that they were not protected and that the British fired all together. They actually fired individually.

Ok! you people obviously don't know ANYTHING!! I''m a 6th grade girl. We studied the Boston Massacre in social studies. FIVE people were killed and SEVEN people we're wounded. TWO soldiers were found guilty at the trial and their punishment was they got the thumbs branded. This was one cause of the American Revolution. Trust me. I wrote a DBQ on it. So, please, don't post a comment if you don't know anything about the topic. Thank you. My social studies teacher wouldn't think you're very bright

Actually the soldiers were claimed not guilty and faced no charges and soon to return to England. The main question was if captain Preston ordered his soldiers to shoot and was claimed seperately. 5 people killed.

Have you studied the Revolutionary war at all? It was a piece of propaganda used to rally the colonies to join the rebellion. It was a drawing and an article published that made it sound worse than it actually was.
