The font used in the closing credits for Henry NYSI is also the same font used on other shows such as Growing Pains and on other game shows such as Double Talk w/ Henry Polic II, High Rollers w/ Wink Martindale and Shop Til' You Drop w/ Pat Finn (the Lifetime years).
Why did they give out underwear as a parting gift, what other game shows gave out underwear as a parting gift. Whoever thought of this idea of giving underwear as a parting gift on a game show is a moron and a stupid idiot.
I hope Chuck will let GSN air his version. Although he thinks he didn't do good, a lot of people thought he did awesome, and the set was ahead of it's time, it had that futuristic space-age look . Someone else said Narz's version and this version would make a great GSN power-hour, and I also think this show could be revived today as well as Classic Concentration, Talkabout, Blockbusters, Joker's Wild, High Rollers, Sale of the Century (properly), and most of all...SCRABBLE!!!!!!
@fatmanfiftythousand You do know that Gary Dawson is Richard Dawson's son. His other son Mark Dawson worked on a number of other Goodson Todman shows like "TPIR", "Concentration", "Match Game", and "The Better Sex".
Some people are probably wondering "Where is Chuck Henry today?" Last I heard, he was working as an anchor for the KNBC-TV news in Los Angeles. At least I know he was three years ago, because when I traveled to the Los Angeles area back then, I had the TV on in my hotel room, and there was Chuck Henry on the news. I tried e-mailing him in relation to this show, but there was no response.
Thanks for the NYSI premiere and final show u posted! This was never on where I live when I was growing up, I live in Central Iowa! If it would have been on then, it would have been on KCCI-TV Channel 8, but instead it was Jeopardy that was in the NYSI time slot.
@megamanj2004X yeah and WOF w/ Bob Goen was not on in my area either, Jeopardy was on instead, and then later Ray Comb's FF and WOF would be taken off and Regis and Kathie Lee would be in the 9 am time slot instead, thank goodness for youtube, know what I'm saying?
@jhzenor61481 oh absolutely. My local station in New Mexico on their CBS affiliate didn't carry Henry NYSI but did carry the 1st few months or so of CBS Goen WoF, though.

@bluebear1985 I don't think he'd want to talk about this show, considering he doesn't want it rerun on GSN.

@bluebear1985 Yep, is still doing the news for NBC4 here in LA @ 11 pm.
