@Pwnagehahaha yes, it is indeed free to play and you can download it (although its a big file, around 14-15 gigs. it took me about 6 hours or more to download.) personally, i really enjoy the game and i wish to see more MMOs similar to it on console. i'll admit that i'm not big into MMOs and i kinda suck at them, but i'm loving this game so far. most avid PC MMO players may not be as impressed however; a lot of MMO enthusiasts think DC is average. overall, i think the game is worth it.

@cyberwaffles the only gripes that i can think of this game is that there are bugs (losing audio is pretty common), the map and navigation system can be a bit wonky at times, and customizing/equiping your gear can be a little bit cumbersome and confusing. right now i'm downloading like a 1gb update so you can expect to see long updates in the future (which is common anyway with MMOs).

@Pwnagehahaha with that being said, there are plenty of other titles on the PS3 that i think you would be interested in. MGS4, Uncharted series, God of War 3, Ratchet and Clank, Heavy Rain, MLB the Show, inFamous series, killzone series, valkyria chronicles, little big planet series, demon's souls, 3d dot game heroes, ico collection, gran turismo.  to be released: twisted metal, the last guardian, the last of us, syphon filter, agent, starhawk, among others in terms of exclusives.

I know that Hulk is not a DC character but is there a way to make your hero/villan more like him? Can't fly and not so acrobatic but can jump real high and fast and is VERY strong and powerful?

@ajbatmanh1 You can make your guy look pretty damn close to the hulk... but you can only pick one of the 3 skills flight, Acrobatic, speed... Acrobatic is probably the closest to the hulk and since its an MMORPG you'll have to gain levels to make your guy Very strong and powerful (you can fight with fist) so yes, you can come very close

@155Miguel that just means the server is jsut PACKED, and you have to wait your turn till you get in because the server is full. For the PC version you cant get in right away but the only (i dont like) is that its just like gameplay for console, you use the mouse to look around like the right analog stick. I dont like that, well im not used to that.

You only have to dl it once. Just leave your ps3 on for 4 hours and your done. Dude, its free what more than you want!?
