Of course Jersey is part of the British isles.... it shows that in the Union flag ! The union flag consists of England /Scotland /and of course Jersey! If Jersey isn't part of the UK , how come Jersey can use/spend English money "currency" The recent English immigrants are welcome as they keep the jersey economy turning over !
Jersey is not a part of the British Isles. In fact Jersey is not even a part of the UK or the EU no more than Guernsey. These Islands are Norman and are in a relationship with the British crown because in 1066 the Normans conquered England and founded the crown the modern day British crown is founded on.
The recent British immigrants are not natives like the Normans living there.

we have been coming to Jersey every year in October since 2006 as we come to watch the Paperclix Jersey Rally.
We have met and made a lot of good friends both on and off the island and I recommend this place to anyone
