hey. finally what I was looking for. I am making a facial motion capture software. For this the captured face is going to have points applied for tracking. The points will be made out of reflective band and the source of ir light will be somewhere in front. Your movie shows me that I won't need a wiimote to do this. THANKS!!! I tried with the normal rgb spectrum but I need normal exposure and so I get a lot of motion blur which screws my algorithm.
no, you just need to set the camera to 320X240 resolution and all sliders preferably to minimum so it will see only the strongest emissions (the LEDs). The webcam can see red or blue etc LEDs as well but, the possibility of disturbing emissions are greater on visible light than IR light.
i cant seem to get to know how to config the program.. my head wont turn and zoom properly when playing in fs

Wow, accurate setup! What if you don't remove the IR filters? It won't "see" the IR LEDs?

just ordered this cam to get a freetrack up and running for IL2 46,, good to see i didnt get an incompatible cam HEHE

How did you get the IR LEDs to work? seems so much better than the red ones im using, do you need the Reciver aswell?
