Damage in RS depends on pretty much everything but skill. To get higher stats, you do nothing but mindlessly grind. Nothing really takes too much planning since there are so few weapons/armor pieces/buffs and such, and other than that there are simply stats to work on. No skill involved whatsoever. Same goes for the rest of the game.

That's the exact thing that separates the two games though. With all of Jagex's inconsistency, repetitive grinding trying to be pulled off a weaksauce gameplay and terrible graphics, the only players they have are ones who try it as their very first mmo and think "HOLY SHEET THIS IS AWESUM" Trust me, when I was 8 i thought the exact same thing. Doesn't take them long to realize how truly terrible the game is when they step out into the variety.

Wow and Runescape are both good games, and people should hate another because that's not the one they play. Runescape is (you have to admit) pretty amazing since it's a browser (no downloading invloved) So I guess the choice is yours both good games.

Jagex has secretly nerfed(lowered performance) the Melee and Ranged stats of loads of players, even before they removed Pking. Many high levels and pure pkers quit when they noticed they were nerfed.
How to check if you're nerfed Ranged(with Ranged lvl 99): wear Robin/Archer helm, full crystal bow or 9/10, Rangers Boots, black d'hide body and chaps, recipe for disaster barrows gloves, amulet of glory and firecape/Ava's Accumulator. Pot a dose of Ranging Potion and attack something weak like Lesser Demon. Do a few trips. If you're not nerfed you'll hit 27+. But if you never hit 27+ then you're definitely nerfed.
I encourage you all, I've been speaking here for much much longer than I intended, but keep in mind, whether your opinion of Runescape is bad or good, World of Warcraft is still better since this is a COMPARISON video. Graphics, Gameplay, Content, Community, all have pros and cons, but honestly one outwieghs another by such a gigantic margin this isn't a contest. World of Warcraft > Runescape.

obviously WoW wins its a disc game which you buy in a STORE and RS is a browser/java based game which mean it can't even get close to the graphics to wow if it wanted to stay a browser game which you can play on almost any comp just by going to the internet. I like the fact that WoW is divided into two factions, so characters can pit against each other in endless war. In RuneScape, you walk around and click stuff.
WoW requires skill, not just a mouse and a finger.
RuneScape, first, is basically just a game of clicking. To fight something with magic, you click a button, click your target, and wait for a good three minutes. The character you're fighting never moves. World of Warcraft is different. You have to cast each individual spell, and turn your character to constantly attack the target. Now, for the matter of pvp. RuneScape used to be okay, with PKing and such, but after the update, it ruined it.

I would've trained my RuneScape account a little more before making this video, so the viewers can get a greater understanding of how high-level PvE and PvP is like.
RuneScape is still a very childish game so World of Warcraft wins by default.

Just to clarify, he didn't show anything high level in WoW either. Raids, instances, and quests exceed Rs in both quality and quantity, Rs is great for a broswer game, but it's a browser game. Sorry, it's still a no contest. WoW > Rs.

Wow and Runescape are both good games, and people should hate another because that's not the one they play. Runescape is (you have to admit) pretty amazing since it's a browser (no downloading invloved) So I guess the choice is yours both good games.

i played both games fo a long long time 70 in wow and 90 in rs they both rlly good i dont play either now too time consuming but wow is a disc rs is a java game its obvious they wow is going to be better so stop fighting about its obvious how wow is going to be better with better graphics longer gameplay and raids but the rs wildy is so much better than wow pvp so just remember that you cant compare the two its unfair so stop fucking fighting about them.

Jagex has secretly nerfed(lowered performance) the Melee and Ranged stats of loads of players, even before they removed Pking. Many high levels and pure pkers quit when they noticed they were nerfed.

How to check if you're nerfed Ranged(with Ranged lvl 99): wear Robin/Archer helm, full crystal bow or 9/10, Rangers Boots, black d'hide body and chaps, recipe for disaster barrows gloves, amulet of glory and firecape/Ava's Accumulator. Pot a dose of Ranging Potion and attack something weak like Lesser Demon. Do a few trips. If you're not nerfed you'll hit 27+. But if you never hit 27+ then you're definitely nerfed.

I encourage you all, I've been speaking here for much much longer than I intended, but keep in mind, whether your opinion of Runescape is bad or good, World of Warcraft is still better since this is a COMPARISON video. Graphics, Gameplay, Content, Community, all have pros and cons, but honestly one outwieghs another by such a gigantic margin this isn't a contest. World of Warcraft > Runescape.

obviously WoW wins its a disc game which you buy in a STORE and RS is a browser/java based game which mean it can't even get close to the graphics to wow if it wanted to stay a browser game which you can play on almost any comp just by going to the internet. If Jagex wanted they could make RS a disc game and then it has a chance of becoming better than WoW.

I like the fact that WoW is divided into two factions, so characters can pit against each other in endless war. In RuneScape, you walk around and click stuff.
WoW requires skill, not just a mouse and a finger.
WoW > RuneScape (In my opinion)

RuneScape, first, is basically just a game of clicking. To fight something with magic, you click a button, click your target, and wait for a good three minutes. The character you're fighting never moves. World of Warcraft is different. You have to cast each individual spell, and turn your character to constantly attack the target. Now, for the matter of pvp. RuneScape used to be okay, with PKing and such, but after the update, it ruined it.
