i think its vecause of both because if u watch the music official video u can see them riding into a place called CYDONIA and the theme of mars and space is prominent throughout the album and i guess they especifically chose cydonia because it is named after the goddess of heroic endeavour and knights are a sort of heroic adventurers

@Charlottecg well, Cydonia is a place on Mars, and the theme of Space and Mars is prominent throughout the Black Holes and Revelations album, so it just came together that way. thats my guess at least.

Is this really from the new york session? The stage is not the same in the close up shots. Chris's and Matt's hair is even longer than when it was in the actual new york session.
