Truly a beautiful presentation, of great artistic merit and of compellingly noble character! I've not heard such magnificent sounds since Beaver & Krause recorded "Gandharva" at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco in the 1970's. That album featured baritone saxophonist Gerry Mulligan and alto saxophonist/ flautist Bud Shank as well as Gail Laughton on harp, Howard Roberts on guitar, Paul Beaver on pipe organ and Bernie Krause on Moog synthesizer. The reverberation was heavenly! **********
Thanks for posting this. I had never heard saxophone and organ together before (although I note that Paul Creston wrote a piece for this combination). I like the sound and enjoyed the piece!
