They resemble the red tulips of the unknown land

  • afghan music 4 lifezzzzzzzzzzz

  • hypnotic

  • This is so nostalgic....it makes you feel so euphoric!

  • Every song, sung by a subcontinental singer, has to be followed by this statement , put it, in one way or the other, that, I am this or from that background??? The value is not, from where we are, the value is that " we all" and that, "we all" , from different facades, appreciate, the very serenity that, entails in the music.

  • Beautiful Poetry

  • Pakistan rocks !!!

Urdu is come From Persian . V are blessed!! thank you Allah for giving us a beautiful languages in this world.

  • @harisopenfile You are partially right. Urdu is the child of Persian and Sanskrit. Urdu actually has more in common with Hindi than it does with Persian, seeing as how Urdu and Hindi are mutually understandable. They really only differ in script.

But Paimona is in Dari, not Urdu.

  • @AuranHarpy: Its the other way round my friend Hindi has commonality with Urdu, Urdu is older than Hindi with its early conception going back to the days of Amir Khusro 7-8 centuries ago. Sanskirit yes, you are right there its an ancient language and the mother of many south asian languages but then again Urdu has much more in common to Persian then any other language. The entire anthem of Pakistan is in Persian words except for one word 'KA'. Even Urdu alphabets are the same as farsi :-) ---

  • @AuranHarpy well just a correction .... Urdu is kind of 50% Persian, some 30% Arabic, and rest of the 20% Sanskrit plus Turkish and some regional languages. while Hindi is more than 50% Sanskrit and the rest is a mixture of Persian, Arabic and rest of the regional languages. This is the main difference between Hindi and Urdu.

As for mutual understandability, as my experience tells me Pakistanis understand Hindi well owing to Indian movies while it is not same other way around .

  • @AuranHarpy

Only informal urdu and hindi are mutually understandable. Formal urdu and hindi start to become more difficult to understand..

  • @AuranHarpy - Well Sansikrat was a langaue that is gone now, due to muslims cultura and promotion in mughal era, hindi has some words of urdu, while hindi is no lnagaue it self it is mix of urdu and sansikrat, orgnizal sansikrat is no where, persiaon was too much prmoted in the era of mughal ,

  • @madari2 actually dude you got it the wrong way round Its Urdu which came after Hindi. So it would be right to say that Urdu has elements of the Hindi language and fyi im from pak.

  • waiii waiii .....awesome one:)

  • Music transcends all languages and borders, its such a lovely song and the singer has sang it in a perfect way, i didn't understand a word but i am mesmerized by her voice and the music, i have been listening to this song for the last 2 days continuously and just love it

  • bestest female voice pakistan has ever had............. cant stop loving her voice

  • This song is in Dari (Persian). Coke Studio rocks! Greets from Tajikistan!

  • it is in Persian not in Dari.......... and it is poetry of Shakhish Sadi

  • It is Farsi/ Dari, and the poem is Omar Khayyam - a philosopher and Mathematicians from 1080s Khurasan. It is sad that his words of poetry has fallen pray to our regional stereotypes while he is reaching to Divinity with love... if only we could try to love each other and understand the depths of his words, our region would be a better place to live!!
