Thanks for letting me hear what this guitar sounds like with the tone all the way rolled down, that's what I wanted to hear. Never again will I have to rely on that pesky neck humbucker to get a horribly muffled and muddy sound. Phew!

And no, it is not the best electric guitar that Gibson makes. There are so many, such as my '68 Goldtop. '68 was the first year of the Goldtop reissue. These were made with leftover '50s bodies(mine is marked '57 in the neck pickup cavity). Solid body, no 'swiss cheese'. 11.5 pounds of tone with P-90s. maybe not the best either, but so damn close.

This provides some hum cancellation without the pickup actually being technically considered a single-coil. im getting the normal les paul jnr. ( i love green day, but the signature is too expensive)

im just wondering why the signatre is so expensive... all the stats are the same, except the pickup of billie's which is noise cancelling for stage purposes.

and the hardware is a different metal....

is it because its a signature guitar and it has his name on it? is that the only reason?

it's the pickup (which is not noise canceling, i don't know why billie said it is), the paint, the woods (particularly the brazilian rosewood), and the name. i agree they are overpriced i got this one on sale for the same price as a regular junior

look at the specs on the website.

the pickup is hum cancelling... its an h-90, rather than a p-90.

the wood is the same, and the finishes are different, along with the tuning pegs and hardware (hardware is slighly different colour)

Please buy a new pedal. The boss DS-1 is trash man... Might I suggest a Danelectro cool cat? Same price, but they're made of metal, and they sound a million times better than lower end boss. Or maybe the Digitech bad monkey, that's a great pedal. Anyway nice guitar.

@dacuriel- i agree with you about danelectro (mostly) Their "cool cat" pedals are all metal, and actually sound pretty good. They are definitely a step up from the regular boss ds-1. I despise that pedal- but I guess it could sound good for cheap modded.
