  • Awesome video, but please don't leave us hanging!! Later-model television sets with printed-circuit boards seem to be easier to work on than the older, hand-wired vacuum-tube sets. When you're done with it, your TV set will probably be working as good as new, if not a little better. Hopefully, you didn't inadvertently bump the deflection yoke and knock it out of kilter. Convergence adjustment can be a rather challenging task when you don't have any test equipment.

  • @HDXFH yeah, it's a good idea not to save a few cents on caps. Manufacturers like to save a few cents on mass produced products because a few cents here and there can add up to a considerable amount of money. however for a repair job I think quality parts should be used.
