@dahmn8r1 It does matter. Make sure its plugged in to the PVR with the Component cables from the PVR going to the TV. On the PS3 make sure the video settings are set to the 1080p resolutions.

@dahmn8r1 There are one one type of Component cable. Maybe your TV doesn't support a 180p resolution.
