@TheHekateris At times feelings can be held beneath the surface of our awareness. When relaxing deeply you "let loose" allowing the feelings rise to the surface. You probably felt better after crying.
@chadbrochill61 If you never cry then perhaps there are more feelings than you know just below the surface. This type of meditation can let your guard down so these feelings rise to the surface.
Hi, thank you for making this video. I've been very stressed out for an extended period. On top of that, I get to handle some abuse issues from my past. I went to Brain Integration Therapy today, and "this" was the perfect addition to my healing practice. Your style of leading is easy and I let even more stuff go. I'll be doing this every evening before sleep and even in the day when I need to recenter. Thank you so much. It really helped.
All your videos are so good. You are an inspiration :) I have been practicing meditation now for almost 3 months now and it seems as though it only gets better and better. I hear that there's a state of consciousness that a person can reach that delivers epiphany after epiphany (at least to my understanding that's what it feels like). Everything makes sense after you meditate for a while, is this true? Can one gain wisdom through observations of the Self rather than observations from the world?
@poppyseeds91 For me, experiential wisdom is really the only wisdom there is. The rest is knowledge. Blessings. That was a very nice question. I enjoyed discovering what my answer for me is. Hope it is useful for you as well.
@MrOdacon Good you found it relaxing. I do keep the information about the sympathetic nervous system very simple and it could create some misunderstandings.
I have tension headaches and I just tried this at the first feeling of tightness in my neck. I am feeling much more relaxed and the pain is not as strong as it was before. thank you.
This one was good but i found the one that concentrates on each part of your body untill it is warm and heavy is much more relaxing and benifitial. I fall asleep everytime to that one.
This video is great. It is going to take some time for me to get the breathing down. I have anxiety and often I actually stop breathing. I am hoping through this meditation I will be able to help my anxiety.
@tgoodman909 I wish you peace my friend i have experience with anxiety and panic. I used to suffer a great deal. If you keep the meditation practice up your anxiety will become lower. I wish you peace and hope you may have some relief from your anxiety. Namaste.
There seems to be a nice binaural beat thing going on here.
I think that's one of the reasons why this is so relaxing, other than that the 'narrator' has a voice that resembles that of Cody Lundin a bit... both are relaxing by nature.
Hi friend,Thank you very much for this video.this methods really helped me with my current treatment. i was glad to have found your channel.you are magnificent........
And thank you for sharing !!!!!! All the best wishes ,cheers!!!
Wow, lovely, didn't feel the time going. My head feels slightly clearer for it, and as if by magic my house-renovating neighbour held off his drilling and banging til dead on cue at 9 mins 35secs! Back to reality!
@itsmeluvele I'm sorry about that. Nursing can be a demanding profession to say the least. Try a break in your routine to spend some time in nature. When you're quiet you can actually feel the slower supportive energies of the trees around you. Hope that helps.
@QuietMindCafe i really like that comment =) i've always felt trees give off a really calming, nurturing energy, like theyre our sheltering caretakers
@QuietMindCafe Hi there, you should definitely check out Baba Ramdev's Pranayam Breathing, it definitely works but you'll wnat to make sure you haven't ate a few hours before starting:),
@pieMUSIC Breathing through your nose is probably more comfortable. I say to keep the, "throat open". This is a more relaxed way too breathed. You would be surprised at how frequently we close our throat and hold our breath -- this causes tension. Try getting out of a chair or picking something up off the floor it without closing your throat and holding your breath. It's not easy at first. Thanks for the question.
@ScottGaul You should gently rest your right hand in your left hand, with your thunbs gently touching, sitting up straight, but not too forced, and so comfortable. Breathing through you rmouth will be better with practice - don't strain your breathing muscles too much though!
@ScottGaul Stress does cause your brain to shut down and go into "fight or flight" mode. When you're frightened you can't think properly. The Sympathetic Breathing guided meditation can help. And yes, relaxation does improve overall health. You may also want to think of the spirit in which the music was written and as it was intended to be played. There is no fear -- the music flows creatively perhaps like a river. When you are completely in the music there is no fear there.
@QuietMindCafe hello i am a classical musician and i am going through allot of stress with auditions. does stress cause your brain to function improperly. i feel like ever since i have been stressed i havent been able to focus with the same power. and also i feel tired all the time. i never feel energetic. do you think if listen to this video everyday it could have profound effect on my mind and overall health?? thanks
@stargatefansg1 This loss of feeling in the arms and legs is your sensory currents withdrawing from those parts of the body. This is simply means you are very absorbed in the guided meditation. As you probably noticed the feeling returns very quickly.
Just tried it..I'm really stressed over my IBS. It helped me calm down but my anxiety level is rising up again. Sigh..I hate IBS...

@QuietMindCafe well yes but you have to be in serious amounts of stress, ie; when you fear for your life, for the fight or flight mode to arise
