We finally replaced the whole steering 6 months after this video. 1000 euro....
FIAT group should have fixed this but they chose to use the same steering in the facelifted Y, Punto, Musa etc although they knew about the problem!!!!!!!
ti sei messo a giocare col CITY vero??? Se giri troppe volte il volante...ho letto su un forum...il servosterzo si blocca mi pare per evitare di bruciare il motorino elettrico!

It's not got any bearing on if the CITY option is used or not.
In the case of my sisters Panda the battery was flat and it's been caused by a lack of voltage.
I just hope getting a new battery sorts it.
