wtf!!! i dont know who youve been talking to but the classic trick for that is to get a strip of cloth about 3-4 in wide and long enough to stretch across the shell. This was traditionally done by just tearing up a 100% cotton tshirt. Anchor the cloth in the hoops b4 you put on the batter head. This is what ive done my whole life and what ive heard about from folks old and young. IDK if you want to try it, but ive seriously never heard of someone getting good use out of that bullshit Diurex. Sry
