Must have been a great advert as I cant remember many other adverts as well as this one, about 12 years later!

People actually used to call chat lines back in those days, in fact I did a couple of times for a laugh, god what a depressing experience. Their busiest time was when The Hitman And Her was on, people would talk about it on the party line. And there would be a "moderator" who would disconnect people if they tried to make arrangements to meet or give out their phone number. If someone got pissed off or offended they'd start yelling "Moderator! Moderator!"
