after you beat the game you must complete separate ways minigame in order to get this gun.

for ps2 and comp, beat seperate ways and if you got the gamecube version(which doesnt have seperate ways) just beat assignment ada =)

I'm not sure. Some of the game's guns are made up but this one might be real or inspired by the one Jesse James used. I don't really know.

All of the games guns are based on real ones. The Broken Butterfly is definately a Schofield Revolver, and yes, Jesse James was reported to have used one.

I just bought a broken butterfly in the gamecube version of RE4. I have 74 handgun ammo but after i shoot 8 times it says im empty! a glitch?

Ah. Broken Butterfly doesnt use handgun ammo. It uses magnum ammo. My advice is to spare as much magnum ammo as you can and use it on bosses only.

i'm using chicago typewriter. you can unlock it by completing the seperate ways game and after that you can buy it from merchant with 1,000,000 pesetas.
