  • Was bitte soll das sein?

  • this is ridiculous...

this has nothing to do with german university and fraternity life...

  • this is ridiculous...

  • in france where I went to school, everyone is hazed. all freshmen are hazed. there is even a day where all administration go home, school is locked and seniors are left to run amok and haze freshmen. the day is usually kept secret and only few of the seniors know it. what basically end up happening is an all out war against the freshmen and usually bariccades are set up things thrown around, some freshmen beaten and sprayed..it's is still barbaric.

  • PANGIT NAMAN

  • HAHAHAHAHA stupid german people.

  • @Yeeestaaa hey don't hate on german people. im half german

  • This looks more like a comedy than a serious documentation. Does anybody know where this video is from? I suppose it is some kind of documentary but I can't find any source.

More on topic: I hope everybody here understands that although hazing/initiation still exists, things like shaving heads or giving scars belongs to something from the past? In the Netherlands as well as in Germany I suppose.

  • Some kinda dutch fraternity stuff. Nothing whatsoever to do with german fraternity traditions!

  • stupidity, how is scaring going to help you finnish college...

  • There is nothing really german about all of this. All students who are seen in this movie are from the Dutch student fraternity ASC in Amsterdam. Even today initiations such like these still happen, but in a much less severe way. Most fraternitys in Holland still have a initiation though. Although the way it is shown here is just plain funny. No one screams like that when they get their head shaven and a real fraternity wouldn't alow such a movie to be made. So it's probably a fake anyways

  • so they run him down to give him a hair cut, I hope this gets better....

o yay it doesn't, group faggot sessions I guess help bring the fag out in you. Reminds me of the GAY Hazing / Initiation Practices the NWO practices.

A bunch of men not fighting for survival, not fighting for food, but pushing each other around and chanting and saving your head seems like a faggot club to me.

good thing that these practices are for mostly GAY white men, who submit to being gay for power hahahaha

  • Was für ein Nonsens. Wer hat sich das denn ausgedacht? Ich bin fassungslos.

  • ist das ein spielfilmoder eine doku? Das ist doch alles totaler schwachsinn

  • the part about Germany is just bullshit - pure fiction. can't even begin to point out all the things that are not true...

  • What do you mean you "can't even begin to point out all the things that are not true," TMaluch? Well, TRY! Is it because you can't believe German's would behave in this way? If so, maybe you can convince us the holocaust never occurred, too.

  • That means that a lot of things about German fraternities in that clip are made up. In my fraternity there was no "prussian pride" thing going on, fencing is not done with swords but a thing called "Schlaeger" and scars are not considered cool. AND THEY DONT GIVE YOU A SCAR SITTING IN A CHAIR!

Your holocaust comment is just childish - what has the holocaust to do with all that? You should not abuse the holocaust and the suffering of millions of just to support your weak argument.

  • So you're suggesting that because your fraternity didn't partake in activities like those depicted that others couldn't have, also? Let alone those from -- how long ago was this video? -- 45 years ago? That's quite an assumption on your part.

  • It's an assumption based on 15-year-knowledge (rather than speculation) of several German/Austrian/Swiss/Baltic fraternities. The scenes in this clip have nothing to do with reality and the idea behind fencing. Wikipedia ("Academic fencing") will give you a pretty good idea what it is all about. You can dislike the true thing if you want to - but hating a lie makes no sense at all... Bierjunge!

  • Very interesting to see this footage of "Buerschenshaftler" the student dueling societies in Germany that date back to 1848. Slightly sadistic.

  • ummm this was created well before an Austrian convinced a bunch of Germans they were superior to the world.

  • what the fuck are you talking about
