  • Ducati is really proud of its bikes, they think 90% of the merit when a racer wins is due to the bike and 10% to the racer that's why Rossi won't Race for 'em Rossi left Honda when everybody thought he was good coz the bike he had.

  • He'll never win another race at this level and the only reason he has a MotoGP championship is every leading rider crashed out of contention that year. No denying his talent, but look at his overall results in the premier class and he's a constant mid pack rider. At least Alex Criville has company in the "At least I shone one year" club.

  • Hayden went through a lot this year. That why he flipped out on de Angelis !

  • @oldsquid Wrong! He also was the best qualifier that season. He deserved that Championship, and even Rossi said so in interviews. With his Duc running right he can do great things. Just look what happened when Casey was out and Nicky got the attention he deserves. A podium. And had it not been for De Anelis who knows what else. Hayden has also consistantly finished top 5 except his rookie season and '09. That's not middle of the pack guy...

  • To Rossi ?? hell no ,, the whole Paddock knows that Rossi has a 2 year contract with Yamaha :S

  • You must feel so stupid right now.

  • THe problem with MotoGP as I see it is a power to weight ration issue. The 999cc change to 800 cc's really is a stupid equation suited only to the lighter riders. The way to level the playing field is to weight handicap the bikes and riders so everyone weighs the same. Then lets see who the riders are, bet it wouldn't be that pansy fuck Pedrosa!!!!!!

  • nicky is cute hihihi

  • Glad to hear that Ducati signed him up for another ride in 2010. Nicky tries his best every time. They just really need to work on that bike because of the race had an extra 2 or 3 laps Dovi would have passed him to take 3rd. Ducati really needs to focus more on Hayden. Stoner already has his bike setup the way he likes. He just needs to get his motivation back.

  • hes lucky that rossi and pedrosa crashed

  • wow, that was as genuine as I've ever seen a racer be. Godspeed Mr. Hayden. Congrats on the home-turf win.

  • Well done, Nicky ! Hope he gets a second season.

  • Nicky is getting a second year for sure... Granted, his results have been poor.... but he's a proven World Champion and Ducati sales in the US market are going through the roof... there's more to MotoGP than just racing.... its a marketing business too...

  • his accent is awesome !

  • home town advantage and a well deserved podium spot goes to Hayden. Congrats Nicky!

  • it sounds like its the mic. his voice sounds like its flowing naturally, but the microphone is hiccuping or something.

  • congrats to Nicky...nice one mate!

  • without Vale on the track is a lot more easy, right? :P

  • right :P

  • amazing race! Go Nicky!!!!

  • is it true?

    hayden on the podium???

    weird!!!

  • well done nicky!!! we're all pleased for you. You deserved that after the hard seasons you have had... i hope that he stays on ducati or maybe even move to tech 3..... moto gp wouldnt be the same if he didnt race in it

  • Grande Nicky!

Such a great guy, I was really hoping to see him on the podium yesterday, the last lap was great!

He deserves a better treatment from Ducati, hopefully they will reconsider the contract for next year.

I'm sure he will do his best to catch good results!

    Don't give up man!

  • Although nothing is confirmed, he was personally congratulated by the general director of Ducati Corse, Filippo Preziosi, so I'd say his chances of staying are pretty good.

  • Is he not on contract for next year ???

  • nothing is in paper yet, when He signed originally I believe it was for 2 years, but the second year was optional to Ducati. They can get him for the same money as last year if they want, or they can dump him, but I think they'll give him a second year. I bet he gets the bike figured out and finishes top 5 next year.

  • yeah man that's crazy ! I like nicky cause he's not a cocky dude !!! really cool guy and a great racer that ducati is a monster to ride and to figure it out ducati won't take a chance on finding a new rider and figure out what the bike is. But like I always said it takes balls to ride a motogp bike. thanks for the info man !

  • damn his last lap with that kid on his ass was the shit man loved it good racing

  • Eres el mejor!!!!

  • Nicky Hayden #1

  • grande nickyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Great video on Nicky. He looks so happy. My 2nd favourite rider in Moto GP as James always comes 1st.

  • welcome back to the podium, great job nicky hayden!

  • delighted hope he can keep picking up from this wanna see hayden at the front again.. really nice guy.. wel done nicky...

  • It was really great to see him on the podium after all the hardships this season in his transition from Honda to Ducati. But from the past few races it appears that him and his Team have finally been able to get the bike to where he can work it, and also I'm sure he has had to adapt to it in many ways. Hopefully Nicky and his team will continue to do well the last 5 races, and he can make Ducati think twice about that contract.

  • his accent is cool... he is really really happy.. :D good for him :D

  • hes so nervous he talks like a sheep ;D

  • wannted to see Dovi here!!!

  • nice Nicky..keep it like this :)

  • stfu

  • Freu mich für nicky... ich gönns ihm. Der hat mal wieder ein podestplatz gebraucht.

  • nice!hayden won!

  • no he came 3rd ^.^
