@1:31 Why did that f-ing woman tossed the chicken down on the ground like that? Geez, can't you get some KIND souls to handle these poor animals? Right off from hell and still being tossed around like a box. I'd love to toss that woman the same way she tossed that chicken. May I?
i've just got in touch with my nearest battery hen welfare trust co-ordinator. i'm hoping to rescue three ex batts! my first ever chickens! extremely excited! i'm also awaiting my green eglu to arrive on thursday!
My husband and I rescued 3 white hens from certain death, as they were no longer "producing" and their owner wanted to make soup out of them. We were told they were healthy, but one was so sick, she died in surgery and the other is laying eggs again. Just goes to show you how much a loving home, good food and a stress free live has an impact on them. We were happy to give these ex battery hens a forever home and they are now are pampered pets, wish the 3rd one had lived to enjoy it too.
I live very near to you and have been waiting for some ex battery chickens for months! The rescuer has let us down and we are getting Warren Browns now.
