This is the reason I run super fast but in slow mo in my dreams: I must have absorbed it subconciously. Even have a sound track when doing these impossible things; you gotta dream!
Wait, he's supposed to be faster than everyone else and yet he's always running in slow motion... It's almost as if they're trying to hdie the fact that he runs at average speed...
I loved this show when I was a kid. At the time I didn't realize that the scientists had given him bionic bell-bottoms! Anyway, I'm glad he was able to kick the overheating Chevy muffler into the water!...
@videozfann o,ok thanx..its still funny..it kind of reminiscent of character Nick Stokes in CSI..when he grew one..the season in which Warrick Brown got Killed.
@THYCHANIE Yeah in season 5 final, he was clean shaven again. Guess back then a lot of people did not like the stache so he shaved it for the final year after this. As far as CSI, I dont watch it, so dont know who you are talking about, lol! Sorry. Check out the bionic clips and Bigfoot episode posted on my page if interested.
Lee majours is hunky here I would have slept with him any day or even every day hehehe thank you for this its great brought back lots of memries for me too
The Six Million Dollar man was my favorite show when I was a kid and I still love it today. The music and sound effects added to it all. If you watch the first show and several shows after there were no sound effects ...just Steve running in slow motion and it really got super cool once they added the sound effects and great music.
WOW!!! my childhood hero, it's literally been 35 years the music made it. Never saw it in color only had black & whiteTV back then. However, back then it was the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!! Anybody remember playing it in the back yard going dnnnnnn yah you know who you are Thanks UTube
Are you aware that "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Bionic Woman" are coming out on DVD in the U.S. and Canada this fall. The first season of "The Bionic Woman will be out in stores on Oct. 19. The entire series of "The Six Million Dollar Man" will be out on Nov. 23, BUT it will not be sold in stores. You have to order it through TimeLife. Pass the word
remember the episode where oscar takes a paper clip off a paper and there are 2 chemicals on the clip that mix together and burn a hole right through oscars desk.Ist it from this episode?
Don't worry. In the Fall, Time-Life is supposed to be releasing the entire run of the show so viewers will be able to see this episode and everything this great show has to offer.
Not sure what compliments this scene more the action or the great music montage. I think both work. Also this location was used about 7 years later in an episode of Knight Rider (Knightmares) when Michael loses his memory if anyone remembers that episode from season 2.
@silverzhawk , Yes I remember that episode from Knight Rider, I 'm a big fan of Knight Rider, it was a great show as well as 6 Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman.
@Astraldragon1 Of course if you are gonna talk about good old tv shows, you have to include A-team, Incredible Hulk, Dukes Of Hazzard, Fall Guy, Werewolf, And Hunter
This episode was called "Danny's Inferno" and was about a geeky science kid who invented a potent new rocket fuel that fell into the hands of some terrorists. The title is a (rather high-brow) pun on Dante's Inferno!
Interesting, the '70s ideas and myths that were floating around at the time...bionics, Bigfoot, UFOs, ESP, telekinesis...It all seemed possible. God, I miss that decade!
Don't forget the Bermuda triangle. Not trying to burst your bubble, but "seemed possible" and "desirable" are two different things.
Leonard Nimoy, host of "in Search of" is still alive. I leave it to you to ask him what he thinks about that stuff now. Leave pseudoscience in the 1970s.
We did get LINUX, real "bionic hearing", extra-solar planets, and sane robotic probes exploring Mars and Jupiter & Saturn's moons, the Internet, and the beginnings of global consciousness. So be happier
is it possible to watch this show online somewhere, because the retail cd is really impossible to find. ive watched the first episode(population zero) and want more, shops dont sell it anymore. please can someone tell me of a good online site.
thank you for posting these. More please. by the way the seven million dollar man and most of the bigfoot episodes truly captured the imagination of the 70's scifi at it's best.
The original movie (The moon and the desert) and the first tv episode (Population Zero) were basically the best of any of the other two movies or series episodes.
His boss in the first movie (Darrin Mcgavin) was way cooler then that lame Oscar Goldman.
Austin even killed the bad guys in the early days -violently killed about 12 arabs in the first movie and caused a large van full of bad guys to explode and burn to death in Population zero -all without retarded sound effects.
just means those of us born in the 1960's are in our 40's and we had the best childhoods in Americn History..and that''s coming from a black guy born in the deep south and grew up poor in the inner cities of the north. Those television shows like Star Trek and the Six MDN made life a little easier. Many of my friends who called me a nerd, houseboy or said i wanted to be white are dead, in jail or have no future! Great tv can produce great morals and values!
Well yeah the good days of tv from the mid 70's to late 80's are long gone as well as the entertaining and moral values that we saw from some back in the day. Sad isn't it?
Other shows like Knight Rider, A-team, Dukes Of Hazzard, and Hulk to name a few.
Majors kicks ass as Austin. Love this scene. The action and the music made it fun to watch and still is. Majors sold this character so well and do not care if this is 70's. Agree with the video poster comments and of course I have this episode from season 4 as well.

The FCC & 'big three' networks had content rqts for many shows. Remember 'standards and practices?'
Cable TV is unregulated.
It seems that too many choices lead to fragmentation, and a decline of commonly held values. It has happened with:
- Television (cable has 100 channels, 95 of which are crap),
- Products (1 million products, 95% are crap or contaminated)
- Cultural Exchange (Internet allows 'tribes' to form who shout at each other and don't listen.)
