when you have an oversupply, its actually worse to pump (as its a supply vs demand process, your stimulating your breasts more, therefore your body thinks your baby is feeding more and you produce more milk! ). You shouldnt start pumping until your milk is established . I had this problem ( painfully engorged for weeks, I had mastitis because of it, Id leak everywhere was crazy!) Once my supply established everything settled down. Just something to know for your next baby :)
Supply and demand. When you pump to empty, you are stimulating more milk production. If you want to ever stop having to pump between feedings, work your way down to no pumping unless you are away from baby. The more you pump, the more you will produce above what your baby needs.
I haven't watched all of your videos, but I'm kind of wondering what you ended up doing with all that milk. Did Porter end up drinking most of it, or do you still have it stored?

who makes the swaddle sleepers you use? I have big babies ( our last was 9 lb 12 oz at birth ) and that looks like it would work for us :)

@Nettices I did end up donating about 200 oz of that milk, however if I would have kept it, Porter probably would have drank it.
