If i was getting a tackle box knife, i would prolly get a pacific salt serrated over this one cause you cant really use this on a cutting board, the pacific salt you can use to cut stuff on a flat surface, more useful for cutting bait or fish (or whatever) up
@Kylef7735 true that, i'm just used to using a hawkbill blade for some reason. i've got this piece of crap ass frost cutlery fully serrated hawkbill and it's usually what i go for. maybe i'd get the pacific salt instead.
@nutnspecial1 Just cause you can do it with those crappy knives doesnt mean they are of equal quality. And you should check @CSknives for videos on the strength of their straight g10 folders.

@DjEndurancE Just some light touch up on the spyderco sharpmaker (40 degrees, 5 strokes on the left side, one on the right) ultrafine rods, no other modifications done really.
IT is also available in a plain edge version if you prefer that.
@TheKittenish Hawkbill blades are excellent box cutters, letter openers, rope cutters, string rope and line cutters and self defense blades. They are very underrated, alot of people dont find them attractive but their utilitarianism suits me well.
@Kylef7735 I have to agree on the unattractive part, but then again, a weapon that's attractive isn't going to keep you alive or work any better than an ugly weapon.
