A real opera singer works hard for many years to build a solid vocal technique, then performs actual operas in actual opera companies. Often they sing small roles and work up to the bigger ones.
Someone who just sings a few arias after studying for a few years, and never serves an apprenticeship, isn't a real opera singer, even if "experts" like talk show hosts say they are. That's just PR, not reality.

i sympathised with her, for i could not do that, but one thing that i didnt like was when she stamped her foot when she was told she couldnt go again, i can imagine how gutted she felt, but that made her look a bit bratty,

Umm...it ian't that people are jealous of her, most of them just think it's bloody unfair they gave her a second chance, when the judges wouldn't have done the same for another act. I just think that if she can't put up with it then she shouldn't have been there.

Real tears or not, anyone but a moron could see this little girl was genuinely distressed.
Take a look at a "good copy" of her performance in the finals. She sang a difficult song with a perfect voice and darned near deserved to win outright.
