Ok so. i got it all working. but. When you right click it it has options for the backround. how do you make it so when you right click it is defualt options

all of your text on your icons will create solid black boxes that block the video. also when you right click on your desktop, it will think you are right clicking on a video.... :(

you need to install Microsoft NET 2.0 (or higher) to use XPScene (you can find a download link for every language on the Microsoft download site).

when u activate XPScene under the step1 there is a resize mode click on the right buton.

l0l - this can be done by simple html coding ... you don't have to download any program just embed the video :P

yep, but not everybody can code html ;) btw. its also easier to click three buttons, instead of coding a html-page.

try to play the video with windows media player. If this works, try to open the html-file with internet explorer (not e.g. opera), maybe a plugin for ie is missing. After that, try to open the html-file as background (do not move the dreamscene folder to another location, this breaks the html code).

also works on win98 or win2000 with WMV 9 (comes with e.g. MediaPlayer 7 or above). Maybe you have to activate the 'active desktop' feature on win98 (under 'Display Properties' -> 'Desktop' -> 'Web') so you can set a html page as a background.

can you do that on windows 98 too? not that I have 98, I have Vista Home Premium but in 98 you could but html page as a background so does this mean that you can set vid as a background too?

thx works great and the best thing about the tool is no background programms and no vlc needed, this is the best solution i´ve seen till now !!
