I have seen one. Heard some. Found tracks and even had my bbq thrown 20 feet one night on top of a mountain hunting. Their real and soon, solid evidence.
Gigantopithicus. There's no need for a huge population--just a breeding population. The anectdotal (indirect) evidence is so great as to not be dismissed. WAY too many people of unimpeachable integrity have come forth with everything to lose vis a vis their integrity to say they've witnessed a huge primate in North America and around the world. With the great increase in cameras, eventually some sort of video evidence will be revealed that couldn't be faked or a body will be found. No doubt.
@09jackstraw Hopefully, but the video would have to be something quite substantial. It would have to depict something that could not be simply a guy in a suit and that wont be easy.
@IsBigfootRealx Precisely why I said "some sort of video evidence that couldn't be faked". And no it wouldn't be easy, but there are ways as I'm sure you are aware, to determine whether it is a man in a suit or a primate. Gait, length of stride, anatomical movements impossible for a man to achieve--all could be used to discriminate between real and fake footage.
@09jackstraw "Anecdotal evidence' is not evidence at all, the fact is there is no hard evidence whatsoever to say such a thing exists, anecdotes/personal experiences is not evidence of it's existence.
We only have fuzzy video's and pictures and a bunch of footcasts that can and have been faked and very well, sorry no evidence of a bigfoot.
@AAA4509 Sorry, anectdotal evidence is indeed an accepted form of evidence and is often accepted as it is the only evidence we have, not just vis a vis BF, but in other realms as well. Accounts of direct, personal experience are commonly equated with anectodal where the evidence is anectdote, hearsay, or represents a conclusion deducted from a generalization. In science it has been defined as information that is not based on careful facts or study, reports or observations of usually >>
