@yuriilev Probably because it wasn't released as a single in either country. The only singles from the album to chart in the UK were Cruel Summer, Rough Justice, and Robert De Niro's Waiting.
Bought this whole album in the good old 80's. I was a Bananarama fan from then on. This album really shows that they are more than pop fluff. Beautiful song, amazing album. Surprisingly deep and insightful lyrics.
I had in the rashness of my youth dismissed the ladies as pop-wannabes. Until I heard this song I had no reason to change my mind.
This song then and now brings tears to my eyes. In my mind I am still in some ways that child that never believes he or she will ever look like that old man down the street...
Now I'm that old man and somewhere in between then and now I learned the hardest truth of all - that we all get old no matter how much we want to stay young forever our bodies betray our mortality.
The only immortality we have is the legacy of good or ill we leave to our own children. Hopefully the future we leave them is better than the one we live in today.
Good to hear this song again - reminds me of college in 1984. I dated one of the hottest chicks on campus ( who now looks like a cow ) and this was one of her favorite songs. Thanks for the trip down memory lane - when music was real.
this is a beautiful song

For some reason, this song didn't do well on the charts in the States, but it is my favorite song by Bananarama.
