If I read the codex correctly, all you need to use the lash is the mark of slaneesh. is it possible to use a different mark on your sorc than the rest of your army? I run thousand sons and Im thinking about putting this into my points
@eatingrockshurts Yes, under the newest CSM codex, you can have a mark of Khorne Daemon prince in your K Sons army. Not very fluffy, but totally legal.
@eatingrockshurts due to the shift from legions to war-bands, also the whole chaos = disorganized principle, you can mix and match which god you patron. for example, khorne zerkers + plague marines + slaanesh daemon prince = best of everything and A-OK.
@eatingrockshurts 5th edition rules for chaos marines and daemons doesn't state you have to run one pure army in fact one of my good friends runs a khorne army with a tzeentch lord with wings with raptors and hellfire round daemon weapons their faces off and then charges with the squad of khorne raptors and gets 4 attacks each on charge with them and obviously 4 attacks + 1d6 for his lord he normaly drops a full squad per round he can do this
Good vid. I roccomend a daemon prince over a sorcerer though. By the look of your tactic, your sorcerer doesnt have a retinue in games, and If he did then that retinue probably wouldnt be reaching its full potential. Go daemon prince with wings for survivability and quick relocation.
Sorry about the above post, I hadnt seen your prince vs sorc vid when i posted it. I still personaly prefer princes myself (especialy when there are two of them).
Yeah, 2d6. I control where they go and how they go. If they are in Jump packs, I can cause a dangerous terrain test. If he had enough models, I could put his figs in the shape of a johnson pointing at him across the table just to insult him but I dont suggest this if you dont know him!!!!!!! hahaha lol
Ive never seen a practice explaination of the lash so thanks for that, its understandable why this list is pain too play i take it your sorcerers are in rhino's and there fore hard too kill straight up, i don't have a chaos codex, i have army builder and theses obliterator's seem to be pretty cheap considering the amount of damaged there can cause.add plague marines that's just sick.
Man, do you agree what lash of submission is a non shooting psi-power?

I've been thinking of getting into chaos with a whole bunch of obliterators as heavy support, cheers for that.
