  • narciso yepes eternal

  • BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHCKCKCKKKKCCCCC!

  • 10 cords ???? :O

  • does anyone know the actually name to the prelude? i really want to learn the first movement he's playing, but can't find it.

  • This is the Prelude and Bourree from the Suite in e-minor, BWV 996. The Prelude is in two sections, "Passagio" and "Presto". Some older editions identify these same two sections as "Prelude" and "Fugue" which is correct as far as the structure goes. Yepes is not playing the fugue section at a true "presto" tempo here, but almost no one else does, either. The counterpoint gets lost if the tempo gets much faster than this video.

  • @davinort Hey, thank you very much! Do you know, by any chance where I may find transcribed sheet music for the "Passagio" and "Presto"? I would really enjoy learning then lol.

  • There are many editions of this suite available for purchase, search under "Bach BWV 996" and you will find them.

  • Great, thank you!

  • the Prelude actually songs amazing, even better than the actual theme!

  • I love it from 1:58 to 2:40

  • Like the contrast between the 'bitey'/metallic and the 'passive' registration to this piece.

  • Agreed.

  • this is one of my favorites pieces of bach, Bourree

and the preformance of the master yepes is awesome
