I went to school with the main drummer...brian wakeland....the founder and lead singer use to be in a band called tripping daisy...they were a really cool band...saw them perform this at the Norman Music Festival in Oklahoma...
@IntolerantMaster I don't think that's true. But my statement was also entirely opinionated. The guy annoys me. Unless Nirvana's message was don't punch cover artists in the face, then your point is irrelevant.
@jakemdoran The whole idea was that you shouldn't conform to others opinions and everyone should do what they want. I'm sure Kurt would be proud of this cover.
My family keep telling me that Nirvana suck and it is really depressing music, I then showed this to my family ... well, let's just say this put them in their place.
We recently covered "On A Plain" in honor of the 20th anniversary of Nevermind. Have a listen and let us know what you think (it's titled "Chariots On A Plain Of Fire"). If you like, check out our other songs and videos. Thanks!
a fantastic cover. I have added this to my FB group dedicated to cover versions. It's called "The Guilty Pleasure of the Cover Version". Feel free to join.
These are the kind of people who went to school and were the cool kids who smoked weed, got girls, everyone was jealous of and were probably really annoying because of that and other shazz. I really hate it when I find out that people like this have gotten famous. But I do like this :) you're really good lads! Well done ;)
seriously, why aren't we arguing over which of the backup singers we'd rather bang? They're all super fine, and nothing is cuter than chicks headbanging and rocking out.
Also, lulz to people who thought these guys are some kind of worship band or something that only covered this song because it says, "I found God." Nirvana did more than spawn a bunch of crappy alt rock bands with dudes who try too hard to compensate for their lack of a dong.
@SMOKEWEEDNlGGA If you think this is a Christian band then you really need to cut back on smoking weed. You also don't understand what Nirvana was all about.
@illfightyou4money I honestly think he'd just be apathetic... or depressed. If he didnt want it turned Christian, he probably shoulda left out the "I found GOD" part. Jackass.

@thenotoriouscbg and what was the purpose and message of Nirvana? please enlighten us!
Because all I got from Nirvana is that life is horrible and I better kill myself, everyone is against me and I should be angry at pretty much everything and that I might let the world rot, since it's none of my business.
