The blue paint is just a gimmick that and covering themselves in paint also mean
s that you an have multple muscians to represent the " Blue men" rather then just the normal 3.

@XxDiggysGurlxX Yes they do, i once saw a documentary that showed that after the make-up was off,they could no longer remember how to play. there is a brain function enhancing chemical in the paint that allows them to play correctly.
