well, our little guy just took a crosscheck to the face in utah tonight. left the game, didn't return, nobody is saying anything about injury but given the history it's not good.
it's tough to be short in hockey, he's taking sticks and elbows constantly just because his head is so low.
20 games aren't enough. Nikiforov just returned to the ice recently for the broken jaw he received from that cheap hit. I hope someone lines up Jenner like that and shows him how it feels to get a cheap hit like that. Even though players do elbow each other, that hit was intent to injurer and those types of plays and players are not needed in the game. If all you wanted to do is make cheap hits in a game, go join the UFC and get the snot beaten out of yourself there.
How can you not, the hit was intended to take him out of the game if not really hurt him, which he did. No penalty was called during the game so obviously the tape was going to be sent in for review. Thank god it was. Thats one dirty hit. Not necessary.
How is that weak? In my opinion the guy deserved what he got. The hit wasnt even a retaliation against anything. He intended to take him out of the game. Thank god hes out for 20 games, the O doesnt need a goon like him.
