@AloneSoul666 Yea, they need to go back to their roots. I beat all the Star Oceans. SO2 and TTEOT were great games! Although, TLH was not up to SO standards IMHO. They did a fantastic job graphically! The gameplay was just lax in my opinion and the story was very anti climatic.

@YangCXiong Very much so sir. The second player can iether import his/her character from their own game, or they can play some of the NPC's that join your party. You can even trade crafted items at professor bombs lab I think. ;-) have fun!

I expected a graphical quality boost since the start of ps1. But why cant many games of the past upgrade their graphics? Memories, I always wanted to get all the quest list complete, but when I played it, I was like 15 or so, and since my mother lenguague is spanish, it was quite hard to figure out what to do next, but still I loved the graphics and music, also, I remember that I almost had all the techiques with all the weps and made the stronger golem (still sucks compared with well trained pets) maybe I'll try it again with emulator... since here is hard to get original stuff in the web...
@Ninchiboy you can either get it on the ilegal way, or if you have a PSP or PS3 you can download it from the PSN (believe is quite nice to have it portable in the PSP)

it's been around 15 years since I played Legend of Mana, but I loved it, and I still do. Watching this video and remembering the music and feel it had, I just want TO PLAY!! XDDD
just looking at some of the final fantasy games that was redone...ugh! It's plastered with "BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY" all over it...it doesn't have the same context of "life inside the game" as it used to have during in it's younger years...Well...I guess we still have those cherished memories we used to have with these games...making our friends jealous with extreme magical instruments, giving them a copy with our '16 blocks' memory cards.....
And I have gone pretty too far saying it was 15 years ;)) this game is from '99 and it was around that year I got my hands on PSX. The games back then were more enjoyable for me then now. Everything was so new and cool... sniff, sniff ;( btw it was 15 blocks! and it was truly pain in the ass when you needed to erase saves from the game you spend so much time, because you got a new one and didn't have space ;)

Dryad 3 in Jungle) to get them, but where do they appear? Do they appear as eggs in Egg rooms? Do you find them somewhere else? I'm huting for a Chobin Hood, and im pretty sure you get one at Lv 3 Dryad in the Jungle, but i cant seem to find him, in the Egg area i keep getting Plant eggs, help is apriciated.

Lol, I've killed him with a 2H Sword (Vizel Gold, 46 attack power) in ~10-15 seconds. Just used the 'Rising Crush' skill and then (when he was confused) i finished him with some standart attacks (with the Daena's help, of course). 'Rising Crush' is an awesome skill, because it leaves you enough time to finish enemy.

@gonzo191 i think it's depending on the pet you get and how you raise them. my land dragon and rabite don't die often if at all. my box and imp do though. i need to feed them more.
@gonzo191 Some pets are intend to deal damage. Some are intend to tank. But golems are better of course if you have the materials. You should check for guides to learn about pets further. I played LoM for a total of 3-4 years or more. But still haven't find a nice pet to tank and damage.
I don't remember this fight being so repetetive... Well, except for that one time I fought him on Nightmare Mode and he was at level 99 (everyone else in the area was only around 30-40, about my level). THAT was an epic fight... Took me almost an hour, but fortunately I was good enough at avoiding attacks to survive the whole thing. Gotta love the invincibility from magic.
I NEVER thought to use spells like this. This opened up a new plethora of strategies to try next time I play this game.
I always pick something fast like a dagger and do a 1+1+1+1+1+1+1 Combo. Usualy puts them in a state they can't move and by the time they finaly do i've taken out a good chunk of their health.
wow i alredy did that firs attack the marble stream for me is 1 of the best attack that hav in game andd the best evade is Evade i alredy beat the game
i use 2h sword too and its really really strong (i have the extreme and major attacks on it) and all my pets are the best of each kind like dragon- undeads... well they are pretty strong
i miss LoM so much... i wish squaresoft made a remake of this game for ps3 *-*
Lech, don't forget to speed-run. For those of you who don't know, it's by moving diagonally and in the direction of the way you want to go. Then you just wiggle the control stick between those two directions. If you do it right you fly across the screen in seconds.

i loved this game but one thing i never got, whats the point of the pet they die so easily i got mine up to level 50 but it still died with ease

@Lechku Yeah, golems are better in almost every way but pets still have their uses occasionally.

@weglarz pets have huge synchro powers, which golems lack.
A golem with Rare treasures would be too powerful.

@gonzo191 i think it's depending on the pet you get and how you raise them. my land dragon and rabite don't die often if at all. my box and imp do though. i need to feed them more.

@gonzo191 If you use the ForbiddenRing and raise an Ice Dragon, you'll find that it's wel worth your time to do so.

@gonzo191 Some pets are intend to deal damage. Some are intend to tank. But golems are better of course if you have the materials. You should check for guides to learn about pets further. I played LoM for a total of 3-4 years or more. But still haven't find a nice pet to tank and damage.

@gonzo191 I know this is kind of late but...you have to feed them, and feed them the right kind of food
and on time
my level 19 ape mummy has more hp and attack then my level 46 char....and I didn't even feed him
every level, just improvised

I don't remember this fight being so repetetive... Well, except for that one time I fought him on Nightmare Mode and he was at level 99 (everyone else in the area was only around 30-40, about my level). THAT was an epic fight... Took me almost an hour, but fortunately I was good enough at avoiding attacks to survive the whole thing. Gotta love the invincibility from magic.

I NEVER thought to use spells like this. This opened up a new plethora of strategies to try next time I play this game.
I always pick something fast like a dagger and do a 1+1+1+1+1+1+1 Combo. Usualy puts them in a state they can't move and by the time they finaly do i've taken out a good chunk of their health.

i use 2h sword too and its really really strong (i have the extreme and major attacks on it) and all my pets are the best of each kind like dragon- undeads... well they are pretty strong
i miss LoM so much... i wish squaresoft made a remake of this game for ps3 *-*

Lech, don't forget to speed-run. For those of you who don't know, it's by moving diagonally and in the direction of the way you want to go. Then you just wiggle the control stick between those two directions. If you do it right you fly across the screen in seconds.
