The thing is that the defenders have their aim set on the location of where the attacker will enter. Furthermore the defenders have some cover. While on the other hand the attackers aint got chicken shit. They can get shot down asap when they enter the corridor. If the attackers will use nades then this balances the odds, it gives the attackers the opportunity to advance. So basicaly if the defenders will nade spam like newbies then everything will be out of balance.
Dont make me laugh. I have never seen cases during my 3 years of playing 2142 that a group (4+ people) of soliders will enter the corridor at same time. People arent stupid and would wun into the corridor seeing that their teammate got shot down asap.

I've been looking over a lot of the comments people have been placing on this video, and I think some of them are getting near this point:
The strategies you have listed (not all of them, but a good number of them) aren't n00bish. Most of them are just skills that work, but are very annoying. Spraying is n00bish, but the titan corridor stuff is actually how a lot of people I know quickly rose the ranks in that game. N00bish things don't really get you anywhere.
I am a noob by using voss? pretty much owned alots of good players and i just use 5 bulets or less. to kill someone and i use krylov or scar and all the assault weapons
You say the Voss is a newb weapon and you dont even mention PK rockets. theres a utility for every weapon. When PAC I always run with the kryvlov. But on the EU side, use the voss for tight quarter BAUR for longrange. The SCAR, beeing a good rifle, cannot compet with the kryvlov so you have to take the voss to equalise its firing rate. Even if at mid-long range it blows.
this video is stupid, I protect a Titan corridor, no I don't throw its constantly but as soon as I see some one I might. also no one mashes the keyboard, they look around frantically to find the person shooting at them. "Jihad Jeeping" is a perfectly legitimate tactic (By the way Jihads blow themselves up not the car they were in a few seconds ago. spraying... no, however controlled sprays from the hip are fine.
OMG the RDX vent campers, the nade spammers, stupid medics, bunny hoppers, rammers, titan gun spammers, voss users. i always encounter them. but especially the sprayers (lolz, once i came up to 2 mechanics with 2 smgs, and they sprayed everywere, and they missed me completely! then i killed them both with a PISTOL! :D), the RDX hoppers (a big disadvantage for friendly fire off servers)
@VippoV bunnyhoppers (thats me and you ;) ) take advantage of the game and use hopping against the others, so what if others dont like it ! its one of the many ways for us to survive !

Well if you use the Voss like that, shaking the mouse around, then yeah, of course it's noobish lol. But if you use it properly, then it's a pretty decent weapon. The clip size is really advantageous when you're fighting a bunch of guys one after another, so you don't always have to reload or switch to your pistol.

The Titan Gun would be a good support weapon, so it's not really noobish. If you have guns coordinating on the ground to where they need fire support it becomes an instrument of strategy. Just sitting in it and firing randomly over the battlefield is a bit nooby though I agree.

@Seve8888 it's got a 40 round clip and an insane rate of fire! At range it's not as effective, but I like to knife. People just stand there and spray at me forever and a Voss clip takes a long time to run out.
@Seve8888 Noooo nonononoo, I didn't say it's NOT effective at range. It's just not AS effective as say a Park, Moretti or Zeller. It's pretty imbalanced, dude. I can Voss snipe people at 80+ meters and it still packs a punch. Don't get me wrong, It's a great gun. I just think that it shows more skill if you can use the Baur, Scar or Krylov. Or even better, break away from the Assault class and rack up some infiltrator pins.

I totally agree on the medics! I do things like run onto the bridge on suez to revive a rank 4 medic, in the face of 2 walkers a APC and a hover tank ( true story ). We got to cover I poked up my upper torso by crouching, was criticly wounded. And so the guy pulled out the defiblirator ran like 5 feet revived a guy, came back 1 foot and tried to revive me. He failed and ran into the middle of the bridge and got shot by the 2 walkers. That is noob.
jihad is nooby, but so is calling voss users, titan gunners they are there for a reason, and the shotty if there was a noob cannon it would be that, sprint dive shoot no aim just click instant kill.
I can't believe I even have to answer this. RDX is explosive, it's not made to be put beneath your feet and have it magically kill you enemies within range, but not you who are just as close. That's bordering on exploitation. RDX is made for things guns can't kill or can't kill fast enough; vehicles, fixed guns, titan consoles/cores, etc.

Voss is a "noob gun", because it has a lot of bullets and it is quite powerfull. It's good for novice. It has also PK rockets, which are easy to use and kill easily.

What the hell do you people have against the Voss?! It's the best weapon in my opinion!
If you know how to shoot it, you can kill an enemy with 6 bullets, so a full clip can last you at least 5 to 6 kills!!! SHOOT AT THE DARN HEAD!
It's steady, it has a normal recol, it's 40 bullet mag is more than enough an it looks cool!
I usually have a 40%-60% accuracy and end up to be the best player with the Voss.
I like the Baur too, but I rather use the Krylove instead.

The Titan Gun would be a good support weapon, so it's not really noobish. If you have guns coordinating on the ground to where they need fire support it becomes an instrument of strategy. Just sitting in it and firing randomly over the battlefield is a bit nooby though I agree.

What is the skill in getting in a tank or walker and shooting people??? A person can pick up the game on day 1 and do that. But if you are always in a tank every round, you are not a noob? @Seve8888 it's got a 40 round clip and an insane rate of fire! At range it's not as effective, but I like to knife. People just stand there and spray at me forever and a Voss clip takes a long time to run out.

@Seve8888 Noooo nonononoo, I didn't say it's NOT effective at range. It's just not AS effective as say a Park, Moretti or Zeller. It's pretty imbalanced, dude. I can Voss snipe people at 80+ meters and it still packs a punch. Don't get me wrong, It's a great gun. I just think that it shows more skill if you can use the Baur, Scar or Krylov. Or even better, break away from the Assault class and rack up some infiltrator pins.

I totally agree on the medics! I do things like run onto the bridge on suez to revive a rank 4 medic, in the face of 2 walkers a APC and a hover tank ( true story ). We got to cover I poked up my upper torso by crouching, was criticly wounded. And so the guy pulled out the defiblirator ran like 5 feet revived a guy, came back 1 foot and tried to revive me. He failed and ran into the middle of the bridge and got shot by the 2 walkers. That is noob.

I can't believe I even have to answer this. RDX is explosive, it's not made to be put beneath your feet and have it magically kill you enemies within range, but not you who are just as close. That's bordering on exploitation. RDX is made for things guns can't kill or can't kill fast enough; vehicles, fixed guns, titan consoles/cores, etc.

Voss is a "noob gun", because it has a lot of bullets and it is quite powerfull. It's good for novice. It has also PK rockets, which are easy to use and kill easily.
