This whole approach is too technical. Even if it could be achieved technically, it does not take into account people's different needs, opportunities and ills. What is most important: people want to be in such a world, or is it just a forced scenario God has promised to change the land in the garden of Eden in the kingdom. This is it? A technocratic world? I prefer a small house, small garden, and the forests, fields, lakes, animals, and not the modern congestion.
We will have living buildings... which look like massive plants...ugly? No ...because there will be amazing "virtual worlds" which people will "log on" to...like the Internet today....where people can create cites of their own taste....I wish I were born in 2108.... never see this fantastic future which lies before us...
WE will make the environment suit us?! You guys are certainly doing shrooms. this makes me want to puke. Balls, you got balls just suggesting this nightmare. I'm not a nostalgic asshole either, but this is just...well, so white european of you.
@trayman2 or a realist's perspective? Why not take an approach that isn't optimistic of man's changing role in the natural environment? At this point it is almost naive to think that people will change the fundamental ways in which they live to create a sustainable future.
