he 's great...but he's not gonna be able to score as much for liverpool...most of these goals ( even though they were great) resulted from crappy defending. Just look at the defenders, always out paced and if not most of them are static. But he looks like he can take a couple of hits, which is always good for EPL, and his shooting is fantastic. I'm sure he will be excellent but I don't expect 49 goal or even 40 from him in EPL.

What a player this kid is going to be for Liverpool. I have major doubts about Carroll(£35m was the most ludicrous transfer fee in football history) but Luis is a star. If only they could have kept Nando, what a partnership they would have been but this guy looks like he could go on to emulate Nando's stunning goal record at Liverpool. Bring in two wingers, a creative midfielder, a top class defender and a ball winning midfielder and we can challenge for the title next season.
