The bit they editted out was when Duncan got really angry dropped his pants turned around and started to finger his own arse to show how much he liked the idea.
this guy is advertising his product in the wrong way... like xwingclass said it could be better used as a regular refillable bottle, meaning you fill it at home, go around with it, hydrate yourself whenever needed and when you're done, just smoosh it and place in your bag!
why are the hung up on the duffle bag, it fits in the duffle bag too.. It could go in a pocket or it could go in a duffle bag... I don't see what there is to be panty-bunched about... omg, relax!
I have coffee tumblers and a glass water bottle that I refill and carry with--all reusable receptacles--but once it's empty, it becomes a pain to cart around, especially the the coffee tumblers that can spill dregs of coffee out in my bag. I would totally buy one of those! More than one even! Awesome... what are then one about... Oh those dragons!
I think people are missing the point. 1- the dragons are about business, regardless of good or bad ideas. A one-use-bottle will only sell one per person. Cheap disposable bottles rack up by comparison. Not much of a business here. 2- I re-use my water bottles all the time. If we re-use our existing bottles instead of a more expensive collapsable one, there's no problem. 3. this save the environment nonsense is just that, so who gives a shit.
@Crashortsofevil I agree, I don't get why people get pissed if dragons don't invest. The whole point is to make money, not help people with their business.
@Crashortsofevil "Save the environment nonsense"? You'd be a fool to deny that the planet's resources are finite. Ambitious people who want to make the world a better place by reducing waste want to see us make progress so our environment can always be appreciated. We don't want to live in a polluted wasteland up to our necks in rubbish. That's an extreme scenario, but I assure you we would get there if everyone thought saving the environment was nonsense.
@PhelanVelvel That's right, educate the fool, I'm clearly ignorant and haven't calculated the possibilities and solutions to make such an assumption. Or maybe I have.
@Crashortsofevil It just seems strange to me that you would call it nonsense if you understand the merit of reducing waste and maximising efficiency to benefit the planet. The more we dismiss creative ideas which work towards these goals, the more actual uneducated, ignorant people will think it's okay to do whatever they want, regardless of the impact on the environment. Maybe you think this particular bottle solution isn't practical and won't help the environment at all, but...
@Crashortsofevil saying that all environmental consciousness is nonsense just spreads the wrong message. A lot of people are stupid, and you can't leave them to their own devices. If they see "environmental consciousness is nonsense" enough, that's just what they'll believe, and that's what they'll apply in their daily lives, whether they see it in the media or in a Youtube comment. That's the only reason I found your statement worrisome.
@PhelanVelvel Sorry, you're an environmental nut who didn't understand what I meant. What i meant is I've made my own calculations and still believe it's nonsense. Stop trying to budge people, let them live their lives in ignorance, and when the news reaches you that the government have actually been manipulating what is shown of scientific research so that they have an excuse to bulk up on taxes, then come back and post something. For now, leave my comments alone and despair somewhere else.
@Crashortsofevil - Your an 18 year old who describes himself as an "animator" and you have done the necessary calculations to decide man made global warming is a hoax. Pretty much every scientist on the planet has got the calculations wrong but you an 18 year old, and might I add very poor animator, has managed to collect your own global data and resolved the entire issue. Sure you have mate, what next for you a cure for cancer in between shit Plasticine stop motion? Thanks for the giggle.
@WillShakespeare2007 Except it's already been disproven on multiple occasions recently and the goalposts are shifted or entirely retconned every year. I'm young and a poor animator, but I'm not stupid enough to believe everything I'm told without at least looking into it as best I can myself. I can live with people not wanting to get it. But hey, a 43 year old guy who beats up on people he disagrees with on the internet to show how smart he is, now that's just the kind of bloke I want to be!
@Crashortsofevil - You made a stupid claim that you had "made your own calculations" while arrogantly attacking someone else. If you don't want to be picked up on them don't go onto the internet a lie. If I wanted to beat up on you I would have called you an arrogant pathetic liar that does not have the intellect, necessary tools or data to have made any meaningful calculations. We both know that is an accurate assessment so stop being a cry baby when your arrogance and lies are exposed.
@WillShakespeare2007 How is it a lie? That's what I did, I went and did my own research, I followed the news, I looked at what was being said and formed my own conclusion. How about your calculations? Are you going to go purely on what government funded research tells you too? Because I'd be very careful swallowing everything told to me by any government funded scientist, as an older person you probably remember the hysteria that was 'Acid rain'.
@Crashortsofevil - No as an "older person" I actually remember acid rain and it's effects in my industrial town of Leeds. Are you really now trying to claim this is fake also? I honestly can't be bothered trying to make you see what is going on but if you'd lived 20 years longer you'd know. If you lived in places like the Philippines you would see it year upon year and the many deaths. Believe whatever adolescent Daily Mail bull shit you wish but don't try to pass it off as reasoned thought.
@WillShakespeare2007 If you can't be bothered to try and make me understand, don't criticise the way I go about trying to make sense of it for myself. Simple.
@Crashortsofevil - I criticized your claim you had "made your own calculations" as it was a lie. Your comment was a lie and so I picked you up on it, is this too difficult for you to understand? You may as well claim you have done "made own calculations and the large hadron collider will destroy the planet", it is an idiotic assertion about an extremely important issue effecting the entire planet.
@WillShakespeare2007 It's not a lie, though perhaps you're simply taking it too literally. I have come to my own decision based on what I have read from both sides of the argument. In terms of the actual science there are many others who have explained the details, and I was swayed by the well made arguments as much as you were by the environmentalists. If you can't explain to me in detail why their science is wrong, don't criticise. Feel free to keep pumping the government ATM machine.
I don't understand why the dragons have to take apart a completely nice decent guy, I think the collapsible water bottle is a great idea, I would personally carry one arnd and just put it in my bag and it doesn't take much so much space. You can always refill it with tap water. ..
I hope he finds other investors and carry this business through.
@Rai4eva it all depends if they sell though. Personally I thing the idea is ridiculous, very inconvenient, but the cause is good. If I wanted to carry around a bottle, I would rather use one of thous protein shake bottles, at least some of them look cool. It all comes down to making money, I'm not a business man, but I doubt this will get much sales.
What are these guys talking??? I think it's a pretty good idea. We reuse used plastic bottles, fill tap water at home, take them in bags to work, school, for a walk. Water is not only for going to the sports gym. It will be a daily use product potentially. I wish it will be sold in my country.
actually the bottle could be used for children because every kid hates carrying a empty drinks bottle around after they finnish with. with this they just need to bring it down to the small size put it in there pocket and away they go.
This is acually pretty good :)
