I saw this play today in NY. One girl played everyone other than the giver. It was the smallest stage ever and she spoke out like a narrator while acting it out. It was original and really good. I liked it. :)

omg we read this book in class and went 2 the play i din't really like the book nor the play but hey it beats staying in skool doing work and the boy who plays jonas at the play had a spitting problem when he talked when he was screaming while he was recieving the meomry of war he drooled every where lol
