this might be fun, but i think it would be a lot more fun if there was was twists added. for example, when the game starts the human team doesnt spawn in the same area, meaning they have to try and find eachother, which would be intense on its own if say you think you see a buddy, then your bowels deplete because that is in no way your buddy.

even better, one of the players could actually be a necromorph (is that what theyre called?) in disguise, trying to pick off the humans. paranoia ftw

You know what would be nice? If necros can destroy lights so they can use the darkness as an advantage like in AVP the game. Also, it would be nice if there were more people available in multiplayer, survival mode, more necro class, more new weapons, and usable vents for necros. In the beta, necros can only spawn out of vents. It would be nice to use them, so you have a sense of being a real necro. As well with the lights, it'll bring back the dark corridors in the first Dead Space. Agree? =)

So this is going to be like left 4 dead... but not as good. The thing dead space 1 had going for it was atmosphere, not because it was a amazing fps, it doesn't even have quick aim / turning not because they couldn't add that to the game, but because it added to the atmosphere. But with 3 other teammates the fear and excitement of this game will be gone, which is the atmosphere.

I mean come on there are games that do certain thing that most people before release would say no to and for some reason they were a big hit. I think it would still be really good to give a try before dishin' it. I mean I like the idea of it to be honest. Objective work as a team aspect is great. You don't get a lot of games that do that. Dead Space is about the terror of being isolated.

The multiplayer should have purpose, meaning and depth, not just some addition to make money.

It works with games like Battlefield and Call of Duty because it ties into the genre and story.
