  • Dale fucking pwns! 28 years later you idiots

  • Dale is a fucking babe yo.

  • Missing Persons were a phenomenal live band... saw many, many original concert performances in the '80s. But for this 'video,' the album track is dubbed over the soundboard recording (which was likely poor)...

  • Spring Session M - I still have that on Vinyl.....

  • I miss the days before lip synching became a talent.

  • Damn this songs goes off bigtime! What a true polished act Missing Persons were true pros with major hits! As usual Terry was terrifying attacking those drums as a man possed! I really dig the intensisity which he for lack of a better word "murders" the drums. Quite unique is his emotion as a provoked animal unleashed to play drum. Do study all their vids back then you will see waht I mean US drag live. Watch th animal seriously murdering those drums! I miss Missing Persons oh do I ever!

  • excellent track!

  • Good memories from the 80s!

  • In this day and age of paparazzi, reality tv and TMZ,this song was ahead of it's time

  • i haven't heard any of their music since i was a kid. holy smokes. i forgot just what a freakin HOTTIE she is. she had a smokin hot body back then.

  • She is amazing!!! Gorgeous woman, awesome voice, innovation at it's best. If you don't like Missing Persons you don't like music!

  • i always loved this band

  • literally the best pop song

  • Excelente 80s sound

  • One of the most Kick Ass songs of all time.....all these years later I find out there was a promo vid....had no idea....THANKS for putting this up!!!!!!!!!!

  • LADY GAGA even LOOKS like her!!!!!

It's so obvious the influence.. I think even Madonna was influenced by this chick (She was before even madonna's time...)

  • @emc7000 it's obvious that others have been influenced by Dale and her badassness!

  • what a song! what an outfit-what a hot beitch!!! missing persons was so cool!

  • dale bozzio......the guy can play drums like mad. I LOVED the Spring Session M album

  • sweet

  • To all the kiddies born in the late 80's who think Lady Gaga is God or something, I'll tell you her persona and looks would not have been possible if it weren't for Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons, Annie Lennox, Cyndi Lauper, Grace Jones, or Madonna to name a few. They were the originals. Lady Caca is just a recycled mash up of the original creators of the style.

  • Google "Lady Gaga Dale Bozzio" and see what comes up. Interesting.

  • hey does anyone think that lady gaga and dale bozzio are alike?

  • @tynee1000 Where do you think Lady Gaga got her inspiration? Lady Gaga is like Dale Bozzio...

  • @valerysgirl

    Except Dale Bozzio doesn't suck.

  • @tynee1000 Lady starlight actually urged lady gaga to be like dale bozzio! just incase your interested

  • lol drummer.. thats where capcom get their inspiration from

  • Simply the best!! That's all I gotta say!!

  • Brings me back to jr high...9th grade, i was soo into KROCK & Videos it was crazy..loved those times

  • missing persons's is amazing live most artists sound like shit out of the studio..shes got killer legs

  • @miser42 There is a live version that's posted from the 1983 US Festival.

  • @ronnyboy1988 she was an ex-playboy model--she is hot, right???? what a tummy??? and she still looks fantastic!!

  • @ronnyboy1988 dale has legs for days.

  • @ronnyboy1988 Blew up a lot of 6x9 sony's getting laid in the back seat of my car at the lake front in the 80's jamming to Missing Persons. Every girl wanted to be Dale. Oh and yeah she has LEGS all the way up to her ass. Thanks Dale!

  • That's like saying ''this meat tastes like a vegetable.''

Two different things that have nothing to do with each other.

Boston is a great band, as is Missing Persons.

And you kill them both by an inane comparison.

  • I love this song!!!! I learned this song on the drums & many others off of "Spring Sessions M". MIssing persons were way ahead of there time.

  • @manginifan I love this song and band too, but no, Missing Persons were not way ahead of their time, they were very much part of and helped define the 80s.

  • It is called Generational Idol Conflict.

In terms of their influence and performance, I don't want Dale Bozzio and Lady Gaga to have anything to do with each other.

But I can't make that decision for you, so the comparisons will continue.

    And this song rocks!

  • I'll tell u one thing... GAGA SURE GOT YOUR ATTENTION LMFAO

  • okay and who did Dale take here look from? I remember people laughing at her and all her TUPPERWARE in the early 80s. Dont get me wrong i do love Dale and Terry is incredible! U people just make me laugh... there is more on this page about Gaga than Dale. Its just that ALL artists take from other artists thats just the way it is...

  • ladyboy garbage i mean lady blabla is a hermaphrodite from what i've heared. but the point is that gaga cannot even create her own music.

    case closed

  • i remember when i first heard missing persons in 1982 on the radio it sounded pretty cool "Words".Then i went to the U.S.Festival 1983.I got to hear more of their music, and i became a big fan. Also saw got turned on to other new bands,Wall of Voodoo,Flock of Seagulls.I like Lady Gaga,Missing persons has a more rock sound and Lady Gaga is more club music. But if i was stranded on a deserted island and only had one record it would be Jimi Hendrix "Electric Ladyland"

  • I am so hard to impress. I never tire of SSMG!!! GA-GA-gag is such a compilation wana-be of other artists and a lot of unoriginal and uninformed people buy into her unimaginative slickness but

it's all smoke and mirrors and NO f'ing TALENT!! I AM SO OVER IT!

  • dude I could never get into ladyboy garbage or whatever the fuck they call her.

she's too shit-hop retarded for me. i need real 80s new wave not the fake new york bullshit.

  • Comment removed

  • GA-GAG - is a total nasty hag. Has NO talent and she looks like she chases parked cars for aliving. Ga-gag probably has secret shrine to Dale in her hag lair. Diminutive Dale fronted the F out of M'ings Persons. Ga-gag is a compete bore. I do not listen to her barfy crap and have been listening top to MP for 20 years practically every day.

  • MagentaStrawbery you are oviously easily impressed and completely musically and artistically lost..and on somehting so so dev for sure. Girl what f'ing planet are you operating from. Barfy Ga-gag is not fit to have licked Dales vomit of her driod spikes on a bad night!! PISS OFF YOU whack job!!!Geeze I would honestly like to bi-atch slpa you for expressing something do idiotic. Go play in traffic!!!!

  • lol well said

  • Who else thinks that Lady Gaga is majorly inspired by Dale!

  • Lady Gaga was inspired by Dale. The thing is that the young people buying records never heard of Dale so they can recycle it and it works wonderfully. Copy a trend from 30 years ago and nobody will know the difference.

  • How can you not notice her? Thanks for posting. I remember this from "back in the day". Yeah I know I'm old, but damn she was hot!

  • Lady Gaga SO STOLE Dales look! Dale looks 100% better than Lady Copy Cat!

  • Boys & Girls they are BOTH great. If you like one better than the other, fine. No need to be a douche bag and put the other one down... What does that accomplish. I don't get the hate over musicians & music. You don't like it? TURN IT OFF. If it makes you happy, than good!

The only time I find my self mad at musician's is when they do or say stupid stuff in their personal life (independent of their music), or their music promotes, hate, violent, crime, drugs, materialism & misogyny.

  • Dale Bozzio is totally cute. Always fun to see.

I don't know what you all are complaining about, "Lady Gaga rips the hell out of Dale and will never be as talented" stfu. I'll admit that Lady Gaga's fashion is very similar but I'd take Lady Gaga's voice over Dale's any day, and her performances are much more entertaining. I'm not disregarding Dale's talent, which is obviously original, but Gaga definitely has a good number of modern (and original!) touches to her own material.

  • that is a fair comment..... Big Missing Persons fan. Dale is Dale, she was not a powerhouse singer, known for her squeak & chirps but fun, and she also wore pink hair & clear outfits like no one else could. Lady Gaga does have a better voice technically, plays keyboards and writes music. Gaga is more Pop/Disco and Dale is New Wave/Rock. Lady Gaga's fashion looks inspired by Dale, but has her take on it. Gaga & Dale are both Italian American and there's a small resemblance. Gaga can't help that.

  • I agree...I like this band and the songs are great:)...

  • A relatively forgotten band with UNFORGETTABLE songs!!

  • Dale had it figured out tho - show off the best boobs in the business without faking a "wardrobe malfunction"...

  • Dale I just saw you last night at the Jacks' Fourth Show, raising money for autism. You're still amazing. I LOVE YOU DALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have to defend lady gaga for the amazing performer that she is. it is not fair to look at a few pictures of her wearing a few of her ever growing collection of provocating outfits and say that she impersonates dale bozzio. though you may be predispositioned to hate lady gaga i think you would be pressed to admit that she is an amazing singer and live performer who is original in that she is taking bits of the past and taking them to new heights by combining them with fresh things in new ways.

  • I forgot about this song, thanks for posting. Yeah, Dale is backed by Frank Zappa alumn. Gwen Stefani has nothing on Dale!

  • Not true. Gwen has a shaved poon tang.

  • Oh, yes she does.

  • Thanks for posting this video!!!! I love this song, Dale sure looks hot in those silver pants!!!! Terry on drums was always an insipration.

  • I'm so glad so many others get this; Lady garbage is an imposter...It makes me wish Wendy O williams were alive to give her the beatdown of a life time. Dale and Wendy could take turns kicking her in the stomach. I HATE RIPOFF ARTISTS!

  • totally agree. lady blabla is a slimey cuntsloth, not to mention a hermaphrodite.

  • Couldn't have said it better myself! I miss Wendy!

  • Why the F did Wendy have to off her self damn...... she was a WILD woman..... kind of the female version of Iggy Pop. She made Gaga and Dale look like Disney and Hanna Montana. Despite her wild persona she was an animal activist and a healthy eating advocate.

  • The audio is definitely from the album, so this video doesn't work for saying it's a "tight performance"...but recommend you see the "US Festival" video. They do well, live.

  • Don't forget. Bozzio, Warren & O'Hearn came from the Frank Zappa camp. There's a certain level of musicianship you have to have to play with Zappa. Hence, the tight performance.

  • They used to practice in a little studio in Van Nuys, CA. Dale used to sit perched on the amps and polish her nails!

  • She seems like her regular job is selling real estate.

    Like high end residential.

    Its power hair in disguise.

  • Keep this videos away from the media.. otherwise they will find out where lady gaga got inspired ;)

  • Visually yes. Lady Gaga is a little shallow like a club kid after publicity.

  • Yeah, Ladyy GaGa is shit compared to Dale.

  • this is clearly because you have not heard enough. she is her own songwriter, designer, and stage show designer. she plays piano (and keytar) and she constantly changes up her songs show and outfits. watch her VMA performance. amazing in every apsect. also, there shouldn't be a comparison. dale and lady gaga are very different artists.

  • she scams off someone who created something original and never gives accolades. i don't think you'd like it if you had it happen to you. lady garbage is just gross; a freakshow. a female marilyn manson. all for shock value. lady gaga rips the hell out of dale and will never be as talented, she's just a new packaged product for sad consumers like you to eat up like sh*it so u don't notice the real world and whats going on in front of your face, she hasn't morals, values, self respect..just trash.

  • her vma the was disgusting; mocked jesus and everyone in the room was disgusted. dale is the original. I choose not to pollute my ears with garbage like that; hence why i'm posting on a missing persons vid; not lady garbages. and believe me; I've heard enough; she's over marketed and shoved into our ears.

  • Lady Gaga SO STOLE Dales look! Dale looks 100% better than Lady Copy Cat! Lady Gaga? Pls! She is a pure disgrace...to music and fashion.

  • WOW!!! love this group!!

  • Yeah...definitely my favorite song of theirs...if I had to choose only one. Terry Bozzio drums so DAMN COOL! He REALLY is a SUPERBLY BAD ASS drummer!

  • YEAH!!!! ALRIGHT!!! That just gave me goosebumbs. Terry my favorite, He's a wicked, bad ass drummer. Very cool song.......I gotta watch that again.......Thanks Trac88!!!

  • boy does this bring back memories. i was in college and an art major and we thought these guys were the BOMB! and my hair was also about the same number of colors come to think of it.... :-)

  • The =original= Lady Gaga. (Only much better than LG will probably =ever= be.)

  • Thank YOU! I thought the same thing. Lady GaGa ripped off Dale's image...completely! and unfortunately...fags and teenage girls everywhere have gobbled it up. Sad

  • I agree.

I've been listening to a lot of post-punk/new wave for a while while kids my age are listening to Soulja Boi and all that trash, and I've been listening to Missing Persons long enough that the first time I saw Lady Gaga, I knew who she was trying to be.

What's even more annoying is that people are actually ignorant enough to believe that Lady Gaga is truly "original" while it's so clear to everyone who isn't blinded by MTV that she's a cheap impersonator and publicity whore.

  • she is a swagger jacker...lmao!!!

  • i also noticed the similarities, but gaga is no impersonator. she is highly original. she writes her own songs, designs her own stage shows, and many of her outfits. from her cd, to appearances on american idol, SNL, the vma's, ellen degeneres ect.. you will notice that she frequently changes up the way she sings songs as well as her stage show and outfits. musically, lady gaga is nothing like the missing persons. at the most, a few of her plentiful outfits may have channeled dale bozzio.

  • hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Everyone in this band(except the keyboard player)Played with Frank Zappa. When Zappa heard this album before it was released he said"There's no reason why this wont be a commercial success".He was right.

  • I love the chicks lil dances

  • Warren is having fun

  • My favorite missing persons song

  • How can you have ONLY one favorite? Doesn't seem right somehow. :-)

  • Great song. One of my favourites by them. The beginning reminds me of "Life is Just a Fantasy" by Aldo Nova...

  • I am your social and your culteral leader,

I create the fads and make all the scenes-

Damn, they nailed the 80's LA scene in one paragraph!!

  • I love you Dale !!!!!!!!

  • L.A.'s "Missing Persons" consisted of a smooth innovative 'change up' of new wave mix. With the great sounding hiccuping voice of "Dale Bozzio," and her very good looking space aged looks, along with Husband Terry on drums, Patrick O'Hearn; base, Chuck Wild; keyboards, and Warren Cuccurullo on guitar, "Missing Persons" introduced the world to one of the greatest cosmic sounds and looks of the early 80's.

  • Couldn't have said it better myself. Bands back then had their own sound, now its all manufactured crap.

  • THANKS..LOL

  • They were one of my favs.

  • I'd still eat that full of ice cream, and I mean that in a good way!!!

  • It's too bad they didn't do much after Spring Session M

  • T- Boz paved the road for all heavy metal head drummers and set the bar really high - right where it needs to be. Tommy Lee is Terry's towel boy.

  • DAMN!! They kicked that songs ass all over the place WOOOOO!!! Love Missing persons! Dale was so money!! All the musicians were awesome but Terry beat t hose drums into the ground!!

  • This is my favorite of all of their cuts...

  • these were good

  • WOW...I thought I knew and had SEEN everything from M.P online. Thanks for posting this. This happens to be my all time favorite song by them, and never saw the video of it. (Saw it live, but that was before digital cameras!) ha THANKS!!!!

  • Noticeable One Begins Now

  • One of the best bands from the 80's and one of my all-time favorites still! MP were one of the first bands to incorporate rock and new wave into their music, and do it so well!

  • Bozzios sticks would be all shredded to shit by the time he was done with a set back in the day. I had a couple I got from one of the stage guys after they played in NYC.

  • check out the huge hi-hat cymbals!

  • i wore 2 copies of spring session m out...

  • Dale looks like a tricked out Liza Minnelli here.

  • Bozzio is probably one of the greatest drummer ever, and as a band they complemented each other. This is a live recording, compare it to the album version. Missing Persons had superb talent, looks, musicianship, showmanship and their very own sound. In other words another kick ass band from the 80's and from my home town Los Angeles.

  • She acts like she has to pee really bad!

  • hhott!! i love you dale.

  • This rocks.

  • Terry, Warren and Patrick Shredding it up. You should have seen them in concert .) fucking Bozzio's shredded drumsticks flying everywhere. Awesome musical talent in this group.

  • She has to be the hotest gril I have ever seen

  • Yes, this is the complete video.

  • This band just performed this song in Phoenix a few weeks ago! They were great!

  • Is this part of a complete video? the quality is great... i would love to see complete footage. thanks!

  • Ps, Terry on the other hand, is tha SHIT!

  • I know this is going to sound so mean, But I like Pat Benatar better lol! Dale was a one hit wonder unlike most of the women in the 80's...NOT being mean here, but I would have liked to hear more great songs out of this band instead of just one great album. But yeah Dale was cool.

  • ALL their albums were great...take the time to check them all out and you'll learn something.

  • Missing Persons were New Wave, but they could rock out with the best of em. I remeber them being played on Rock Stations like KMET and KLOS back to back with bands like Boston and Def Leppard.

  • terry bozzio is a fucking monster drummer probably one off the best in the world he plays like he is from mars nothing comes closer on earth.he attacks them like a killer machine.

  • No wonder she was one of Heff's bunnies!! She's like 6 foot tall!

  • actually no. she is moderate height. but her art is 10' tall. Love Dale. Yummy. great person. It is such a kick to have this collection on youtube. very fond of Dale. Self made, navigated all the shit in life, she has. Not an easy thing. Maybe she'll live to be a hundred. She has such a strong "mom" instinct in this band, unflinching pioneer spirit.

  • On IMDB, it says she's 4'11". Thumbalina!

  • I remember when MP first came on the scene. I was so into Ozzy and metal in general, I never paid much attention. Man did I miss out. I love these guys now!!!!

  • Oh Heyul Jjjeah ! ! !

  • THAT ASS!

  • When you shoot in that you'll think your liver is coming out. Fuck yeah.

  • You should be writing novels.

  • L.A.'s "Missing Persons" consisted of a smooth innovative change up of new wave mix. With the great sounding hiccuping voice of "Dale Bozzio," and her very good looking space aged looks, along with Husband Terry on drums, Patrick O'Hearn; base, Chuck Wild; keyboards, and Warren Cuccurullo on guitar, "Missing Persons" introduced the world to one of the greatest new sounds and cosmic looks of the early 80's.

  • This album gets in your blood. It's addictive.

  • This is 1 of the best responses on you tube i have ever heard, you have the best taste in music.this band was inspirational.

  • Love live the 80s! Dale and Warren ROCK!

  • u rock Dale.. u and your band are so retro awesome... im now proud to have grown up in the eighties.

  • Patrick O'Hearn is on keyboards behind Dale.

  • Just heard this song for the first time (2008)and Ive been listeining to these guys since 1985... another awesome tune!

  • Hey is that weid al yankovic on keyboards behind Dale?? lol

  • It's funny and cool the way the drummer is glaring at the drums sometimes, like he's punishing them, lol.

  • How can I NOT notice you,Dale?

Man!, this chic's got some curves!

  • Ahead of their time. World-class musicians. The drums parts on this album are absolutely SICK - period. Just listen to the very end of this song for a mere tease. Love it.

  • Isn't this the song that got them on the charts?

  • One of my absolute fave tracks from MP! Thanks for this!

  • mine as well...terry is a sick drummer....still records and performs today...

  • OMG I've been looking for this video for years!! Thank you!! I was at this show! It was December 28,1982 at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco. They filmed the entire show but never broadcast it. A comedian named Dr. Gonzo was the opening act. It was a most memorable night out!!

  • hi there, saw your posting..there is the entire audio show of that particular Missing Persons that you attended at the Warfield Theater..it is online..drop me a message will send you the link

  • Why not just post the link here?

  • this song is so sick. seriously this band is beyond underrated. terry bozzio is unbelievable. the guitar work and bass lines are amazing. i love missing persons.

  • Does Dale have the longest legs ever? It's like legs, big round fake titties before everyone else had big falsies, and then the hair, with those gorgeous lips peeking through.. Loved that look.. To think now that the grade schoolers + buy the color clip extensions to add blue or red to their hair..lol

  • This is why 1982 WAS (without a doubt) the best year of the entire 80's. As the 80's went on...FORGET IT. Music died a painful and agonizing death.

  • I think years 1983-84 were slightly better. But from 1985 onwards definitely there was a decline...

  • GREAT FU*KING BAND...Killer song!!!

  • Terri Bozzio is definitely one of the top ten best drummers of all time. Perhaps even in the top five. And while Dale is nowhere near the top ten vocalists (nor 100 even for that matter) she too definitely demonstrates an equally talented performance in this song and video (not to mention the fact that she's pretty hot looking too). Both are "super hot" in this, their best song from either of their three albums (IMHO). Thanks for posting !

  • This was, IMHO, their best tune.

  • I love this song! dale so pretty! colleen phoenixxooo

  • hmmm... Good things do come in small packages

  • I always love the bass on this song.

  • You really had to see them in live during the 80's to really appreciate them!!!

  • I have been looking at the live and videos, and, as much as I love the songs, I don't think I missed much.

  • Yeah, I sure enjoyed that one. I watched it once to pick up on Dale, and again because hey wait a minute those guys could play !

  • Pick up on her? Did you know her?

  • AH!!!!! Here we go. FANTASTIC!!! Somebody put the whole version up. I bow to you. That last and only version was only...what.....7 second long. THANK YOU for Posting the whole version. As I stated before "Terry the Master" behind the kit. Thank You
