This reminds me of when I was little. My grandmother had two maps; one of the US and another of the World and I had to learn every country and capital. I also had different types of atlas and travel books. It was annoying then, but comes in handy now! LOL. Kudos for teaching your cutie-pie daughter early on. I think more parents should.

So how would you feel if it were the reverse: An American kid learned Swedish geography very well, and then Americans commented (in poor, incorrect Swedish) that she is smarter than a Swede.

Imagine, further, that it were Nigerian or Kenyan or Ethiopian geography in question, and people wrote, "wow, that kid is smarter than a Kenyan!" That would sting of racism!
