Hello Froskus, I am just curious if the flowpod comes with a quick release plate for easy removal of the camera without having to re-balance the flowpod later.
First off, I'd like to say *thank you* so much for replying to my comment. I've been trying to find out if the flowpod could accommodate my needs in the field for a month or so now.
Anyways, would it be possible to attach a Bogen quick release plate to the flowpod? Is the appropriately sized threading there?
Yes, I have done this. I believe the place and attachment are called the 577 (Manfroto). It works very well indeed and means that the camera can be removed and reattached without rebalancing each time
@AOforever1 absolutely possible and most times recommended...be aware though that it adds weight to the equation... if your cam is onthe girthier end of the spectrum, it may put it over its limit
Very helpful, thanks for taking the time to make this video. I've had a Flowpod for awhile and wasn't using it correctly. I was just about to sell it on eBay and came across your video. I may keep it around for awhile now.
Out of curiosity, do you use the FlowPod and the A1 together very often?
I have the exact same equipment and it seems like the A1 is too heavy. It's really hard to get it to stay balanced. I've gotten it perfectly balanced using the table bracket, and left it alone for an hour, and in that time it will start to lean to one side. It's even worse when trying to use it.
I seem to have better luck with a lighter camera like a JVC GZ-HD7.
hi thank you for ur tutorial it was very helpful but a have a question when u r balancing the pod do you touch the white plastic screw on the top of the handel at all?
Hi! No, the white plastic screw has nothing to do with the balancing og the FlowPod. It is just to control how easy the FlowPod shall swivel ontop of the handle.
Thank you for this video! Just bought a used Flowpod and was having trouble using it, this helped tremendously.

Bra video froskus! Vurderer sterkt å kjøpe en FlowPod selv, har du forslag til hvor jeg kan få kjøpt det? Vet du om det selges i Norge?

@Aperunk1 Hei, Jeg kjøpte min hos VideoUtstyr Norge. videoutstyr "dot" no
Jeg trur jeg betalte rundt 6200 kr inkl. mva. for den da jeg kjøpte den for noen år siden.

Hi!
No, I am not using the FlowPod an A1 together very ofthen. Actually I am not using the flowpod often at all :-p
I have just used it to create those three videos I have her on youtube (and it was quite stable then)
I have aleso used it two times filming with a local Tv station, but I had a video-light mounted on the camera then, and that dod not become stable.

I found that with the large battery, the A1 was too heavy with the Flowpod. I needed to add two more weights. Just my own experience.
