I haven't made my own glazes yet. I've been reading a lot of books to learn, since my advanced pottery class teacher doesn't seem to know much about glazes. It just seems so complicated. What do you think is causing the blistering in this particular glaze?
Thanks, I think the next experiment will be to slow the cooling down and get a even better mix of the glazes and clays sitting on the same shelf. I'll post the results. Thanks for watching.
Thanks, I don't make these glazes either. Want to learn to get the commercial ones right before I move on to making my own :p
Seems to be more of a problem on the one clay, a smooth white stoneware...so I'll be doing more experiments to find out.
