at one time, a church we were attending began to work through Rick Warren's book, the purpose driven church, and as we were reading it, I seemed strange to me, I told my husband, there is no life in this book, it's dead, no Spirit at all, he agreed and so did my his father, eventually they stopped studying the book.I had no idea who Rick Warren was and my thought was, obviously this guy doesn't know the Holy Spirit, I thought, wow his church must be really dead.Praise God for giving discernment!
