o bois it cant be doo-koo if its spelled deku. so therefore it can only be dee-koo or deck-oo. but as most of us know and pronounce there's almost never an ee sound wen theres one E in a word we usually have it sound like an eh sound which would make it be deck-oo link. BUT then again nintendo / a company in japan as u all know and would of guess would be japs(no offense to anyone) and there they will pronounce one E in a word like the sound ee and since its theyr creation it must be dee-koo.
