@sinisterskills17 That does make sense, But however Chi-Chi began to mellow out ever since Goku died (for the second time). According to the Turning Point and end of the Cell Saga, Gohan chose to stop training and continued his studies on his own.

Vegeta did trained for the past 7 years too, But his training would only get him to SSJ2 and I think he didn't become a SSJ3 because of his pride and arrogance.

That's all I know about so far.

@asdfjkc the order of saiyan ascension is a de-evolution from normal saiyan to ape looking (since they are technically apes). this is why super saiyain 1 + 2 they lose a bit of control over their character and become a bit more chaotic by nature. ssj3 looks like a caveman, and ssj4 looks straight up gorilla.
