For the "hard to believe he's dead" part that you borrowed from Halo 3, it would have been cool to keep the next line, which is Arbiter saying "Were it so easy". Since the Arbiter and Captain Anderson have the same voice actor, it'd be a cool connection, and you could almost believe it's actually Anderson saying it.

Without doubt one of the most touching, deep, and overall amazing game series of all time. Mass Effect has changed my life. For the better. I now have a completely different view on space and life in other parts of the universe. One day, I wish I could take a ship and fly out, discover worlds no man has ever journeyed to, witness the sun shine against our planet with this song in mind :)

Every game-to-movie adaptation has flat-out failed (ahem, Uwe Boll) because no one, not even fans of the respective video games, could follow the movie because it deviated so far from the source material. There are few outliers: Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia, and Scott Pilgrim were relatively well-reviewed, but not exactly Oscar material.
I just loved Mass Effect 1 and 2 and I would play them both again even though I finished ME1 twice and ME2 five times. @wanenagasiren Shepard is likely not to be in the film at all, in an interview/preview they said that the Shepard's story lies in Mass Effect 1, 2 & 3, and that they expect that that'll be the end of our journey with him/her. They're obviously going to continue to use the Mass Effect universe, but it won't be with Shepard.
Yes ME3 will be Shepard's last game. But a movie will be based on his adventure, it is going to happen. I'm just not sure if it will be another game based movie failure. I hope they pick the right director

I will admit that I would be among the disappointed. Putting aside my personal opinions, I think that a movie version of fem Shep as portrayed as Jennifer Hale is worthy of an attempt SO LONG AS THEY HAVE THE RIGHT ACTOR.
That being said, I would also be a little disappointed to see an attempt at a full live action version at this stage. I think sticking with 3D animation and motion capture would be best for the aliens and would allow them to keep the voice actors consistent.

@lasthope25 I agree no movie should be made about the storyline or characters of these games, but there is no reason not to make one about an unrelated event in the same universe. (First contact war to name something)

if they make a movie, it WILL be about Shepard, but the default shepard with neutral decisions, like the council dying and andeerson being council member, and rally the crowd with tali's loyalty mission, if its about something else then i wont even care about it

I think I heard him explain how he got Shep's N7 arm thing, but was vague about it from what I can remember.
What if Legion is closer to Sovereign than is said? After how Liara said that the Collectors wanted Shep's body, who's to say Legion wasn't there, or was one of the ones who confiscated the body? D:

@killerdudecris If they make one it better NOT be about shepard (or at least not about the reaper story) because I already played it, whats the point in watching it. But if it is about shepard it will probably be a male because all the trailers for both games have a male shepard in them. The covers for both games have him on them too. :P

I will admit that I would be among the disappointed. Putting aside my personal opinions, I think that a movie version of fem Shep as portrayed as Jennifer Hale is worthy of an attempt SO LONG AS THEY HAVE THE RIGHT ACTOR.
That being said, I would also be a little disappointed to see an attempt at a full live action version at this stage. I think sticking with 3D animation and motion capture would be best for the aliens and would allow them to keep the voice actors consistent.

@shendigforshepard no this is "what do you see" when Kenada is walking out and just before he is killed he stares into the sun and capa asks "what do you see?" this is that music, however a very very similer version plays at the end of the movie, but its twice as long and that one is Adagio in d minor. But they are almost identical
