Shame is, proper isometrics -do- produce great results in strength, endurance & lean mass, but none of the commercially promoted methods qualify as proper or productive. You must: A/ Do c1minute sets to effectively inroad strength, & B/ Work c19 min, (10 /1min exercises, + 9 /1min breaks), for optimal metabolic & hormonal effect.
I use isometrics and they do build strength in muscle and tendons quickly and relatively easily. Bruce Lee used isometrics as part of his training routine along with weights running and flexibility.
Whether you're doing bodyweight exercises, lift weights, or do isometrics, you MUST work equally HARD to make worthwhile gains. Those of use who gave up on other systems because they required unrelenting hard work will give up on isometrics for the same reason. Those who really beiieve they can work hard enough while sitting in traffic will make little or no improvement.
@Julmuu actually it does. the more msucle u have on ur frame, the faster u burn calories. having more muscle makes it easier to create a calorie deficit which is essential to losing body fat
@TYLERJB777 Of course there are isometric holds in gymnastics, but also a lot of slow, controlled movements, and many explosive movements at a wide varierty of speeds. All of these types of strength must be worked diligently, from every required angle, to be a good gymnast, but before that, one must have the body type suitable for gymnastics: If you don't already look anything like a gymnast before you begin training, your future in gymnastics is very limited.
Went to your site: What's with the photo of Bruce Lee "...Supporting his full bodyweight on just his toes & thumbs.."? This isn't a feat of strength! If you can't do that already, without even training, you're a serious fatty.
@livierayon if u want i will show u truth:) add me on my messenger pernutza_confortabila...i will show u what half a year of isometrics do to a body:)

isometrics is how gymasts and other strongmen build superhuman strength and get lean nice muscles. combine this with HIIT and you will get chiseled!
