  • so right

  • she has the balls to do this. i'd never!!

  • I don't even know her name or anything about her. All I know is that, if she ran for president I would so vote for her!!!!!

  • This is the stuff that makes fathers in America proud!

  • Wow, that was beautiful and honest. She spoke the complete truth. Bright young girl!

  • this chick just gave me a brain boner

  • WOW! i love her honesty!!! very sincere speech!

  • This is simply amazing.

  • haha teachers behind her look sooooo uncomfortable

  • @WormComposter Don't tell me you must be one of those crazy people on the internet that think too highly of themselves and feel the right that they can assume and look down on others, their opinions and own life's experiences?

Just who are those people you ask? If you get around more you would know.

  • She is doing ok here. I hope she can really change the World, but can she?

  • Beautiful, though education is still extremely important. There are some people who are so uneducated that they don't even understand what you are talking about, nor can fathom in their mind what is going on.

  • @wonphi don't tell me, you're a public school graduate. Just who are those "some people" that don't understand nor fathom what's going on? Or do you think more highly of your self (and education" than you should?

  • How nice to see a bright young person stick it to these over paid underwhelming moronic educational institutional zombies

  • no clapped because it was good, they all clapped because it was over ....F'n shoot me in the face ...and we wonder why this country is going down the crapper that kid was "the best" at that school that year ...if i were her parents i demand a refund!

  • yes!

  • god can somebody throw something at this person

  • The lady in the black and white dress on the far left was swirming...LOL! Of course what the speaker is saying is correct.

  • Look up Weapons of Mass Instruction on C-SPAN video library.

  • Great video. Another good one right here on Youtube is Ron Paul on Homeschooling

  • drink some more of the kool aid and take a valium you angry little brat

  • This girl is right and is bringing to light the socialist agenda disguised as philanthropy. The Carnagie and Rockerfeller Foundations are two non profit tax evasion schemes that have financed education to change the system to a more socialized society. The ultra rich behind the banks, oil, insurance, and universities have an had a socialist agenda for decades. They themselves were taught critical thinking but want to deny that to future generations. See Reese commission report.

  • @ptbusa I think it's pretty pathetic that you idiotic conspiracy theorists throw around terms and ideologies you know nothing about. Completely worthless, you are. Socialism is the exact opposite of corporatism and if we truly had socialized Universities (like we do public highschools, libraries, etc.) corporate America would go ballistic and beg the government to privatize it. Try researching the topic instead of rambling when you want to get your point across because you sound like a tool.

  • @eagles980

Read up on the findings of the Congressional House Investigation of non profit organizations through the Reese Committee and you will see that the agenda has been to turn Americans away from the individual and toward collectivism. Critical thinking requires evaluating both sides. This girl is describing that as not being taught. America is about everyone having something unique to contribute not necessarily equal. Thinking for yourself does that but that is not being taught.

  • @ptbusa What on earth are your blabbering about now? You've already proven yourself completely incompetent and misinformed on the philosophy and economic system of socialism (which is about collectivism and cooperative control rather than the profit motive of the U.S. education system), but now you cite some inquiry done by a completely biased non credible source? It was created by a congressman who believed taxpayer funds were used to further communist aims, in the 50's no less. You're a loon.

  • I like this. Very progressive message

  • This is the best speech I ever heard a Valevictorian give. God Bless Her!!!

  • Wow.. She's speaking the truth... We werent meant to be in the position we are in. Slavery stil exists and it's not racial. It's a slavery of the mind. The man is now the corporations and we are the slaves if we allow them to control us.

I'm so glad I didn't fall into the trap of going to school. I worked my but off at jobs then realized there was something wrong. i was working my but off but not moving forward. now I blog professionally and dabble in real estate.

    Better break out.

    Great vid

  • In education the winners are losers and losers are the big winners.

  • @Pfsif This is so true! Usually all the popular people in high school wind up doing nothing and pine for the days they were so admired, while everybody else goes on to try to succeed in what they aspire to to make their life more meaningful and productive

  • WOW I LOVE HER!

  • A BA does not prepare you for work! That is the funniest thing I have heard all day! HAHAHA

  • orale much love siser.

  • "while others came to class without their homework done cause they were reading about an interest of theirs"

yes... I'm sure that was why they didn't do their homework, they were too busy reading. lol

All in all, a great speech, though.

  • Comment removed

  • yes. yes. and...YES.

  • i wonder how many people that were there at that ceremony actually listened to what she was saying instead of trying to sit through it waiting for it to be over so they can get on with their day and not processing a single word she said

  • The only truth in the world is that we are not equals. No one is equal but it's jammed into everyone that we are. Sorry kids It just is the truth that people don't like to hear.

  • @Laidoutbug Everyone is equal. We just disrupt our own equality.

  • human being See MONSTER.

    —Ballentine's Law Dictionary (1930)

monster A human being by birth, but in some part resembling a lower animal. A monster hath no inheritable blood, and cannot be heir to any land.

    —Ballentine's Law Dictionary (1930)

  • I'm shocked that they even let her finish. A lot of people don't like hearing this stuff. The conventional mainstream public can't handle the truth. Great speech! Three years out of college and I'm finally going back with the intent to LEARN even if I leave before I get a degree!

  • I hope my daughter has the same ideological view's as you have acquired at such a very young age, BEST SPEECH EVER!.

  • I think I just found my future wife!

  • The more she talked to more attractive she got.

    Awesome speech.

  • I'm 56 and I agree with every word she said. My college education was all about "the test".....something needs to change.

  • @lancetop you should watch a video on youtube called college conspiracy. It will enlighten you on the subject

  • i like this girl

  • Now, their is proof that the echoboomers areofficially assured in good morals. Some, not all.

  • I am currently enrolled in a pharm doc program and I DO NOT consider myself smart, i consider myself determined and hard working it really takes effort to excel, it's either you want it or you DON'T

  • Beautifully said! Standing ovation from my living room

  • Education from colleges is another way to control and manipulate the masses into believing that a job is the only way to be successful.

  • I know some IDIOTS that are about to get their BA = (

  • She's right, just listen to how boring she sounds when whe talks.

  • Brilliant.

Education is lazy, in some ways, consistently playing the "safe" card, despite knowing its fallacies.

  • I graduated college. Now I live in a redwood forest and I garden. This young woman is a great inspiration. Maybe I'll become a writer when I'm not gardening.

  • Awesome!

  • A true scholar.

  • Fuck college, i'm dropping out and going to go live in the forest like a REAL human.

  • @krisstopher07 You're an idiot...

  • why only 84 + thousand views? this should be a few millions!

  • i hope she doesn't have a boyfriend yet. :)

  • @67Mannheim

    she only dates black guys

  • Yes.

  • Absolutely amazing. You are going to go far without a doubt in my mind.

  • God there is still hope.

  • I am in love with her

  • Is there a transcript of her speech? Does she have a website?

  • thank you. you are brilliant and brave.

  • Her speech is the deathstar and the establishment is alderran...BOOOOOM

  • holy shite!!!!

    This is fantastic.

  • What a truly wonderful and inspiring speech! She will succeed for her mind is in a very good place... I expect that this is not the last we will hear from this beautiful mind... And thanks to the teachers that continued to let this intelligent young woman speak!

  • Sure, the school is there to teach you. The problem with the education system is that they don't learn teach them how to think for themselves.

  • SHe speaks only of the truth. I love this!, OCCUPY your fucking local CITIES you dumbass FUCK HEADS, OCCUPY!!!!!!! PASSIVE FUCKS!

  • She is probably a sociology major.

  • I have mixed feelings about this speech. I was the one reading up on my own interests, instead of doing homework. To pursue your REAL passion IS ALWAYS a gamble. The odds are better for the ones that study hardest 9 times out of 10. When you risk big, you have a shot at winning big, BUT you could also lose your shirt. You make choices and you live with them. Everyone school sucks and is soul numbing, i didnt need to listen for 10 minutes of monotone Miss Ovberachiever to know that....

  • @dmeyer2626 And yet, she has a better chance than you do to effect actual change. Because she "played the game" she'll likely be able to position herself within the system so as to make a real difference. While you pride yourself on taking the gamble, she's humbling herself and preparing for a much bigger fight. The world is full of outsiders like you (and me), but what it really needs are people on the inside who know how to think outside the box. I wish I had the discipline and flexibility.

  • the second mistake people make is the assumption that people WITHOUT degrees know enough...

  • The very structure of the public school system is designed to break people down and make them into sheep. The students must yield to a teacher, the teachers must yield to a principal, the principals must yield to a superintendent. And you must yield to them no matter how abusive or unfair they are. The unforgivable sin is disobedience.

  • Brilliant!

  • If you want some good information on this wicked education system then check out Peg Lusik and Charlotte Iserbyt.

  • Makes me sick to see these fools wearing the Squaring of the planet Saturn on their head which rubber stamps their tunnel vision indoctrinations. This is yet another example of the power of the Satanic system trying to better God as usual. Do you think your round heads aren't a miracle and amazing enough? Well the system believes that by squaring it you make it perfect and something easier to build upon (indoctrinate). God was not stupid when it created you. Notice the colors of Isis

  • @anunnaki2006 HAHAHAHAH SERIOUSLY?

  • @jedimouse I wouldn't have said it if it wasn't how it is. Yes your head is seen as imperfect by the Luciferian cult that runs this Planet. They believe their illumination (indoctrination) is more perfect than your natural thoughts and instincts which were in line with nature and in balance. Think of it as a stone and the mason makes it square and then it becomes easier to build upon. Yes easier to indoctrinate and nothing more, this is what the Haberdashers and Tavistock Institute love to do

  • @anunnaki2006 I take it you do not have many friends

  • @jedimouse May I also inform you that the tassel off the Square mortar board (Masonry) is representative of a flacid phallic showing a lack of generative force thus uselessness and dumbed down rubber stamped for the system of illusion aka Alice in Wonderland most like yourself live within. They then throw this square into the air to the God Kronos in other words ancient Saturn also known as El in Phoenicia and this is why when you're old your ELderly getting closer to meeting the judge/reaper

  • @anunnaki2006 lol this is fantastic. tell me more!

  • @jedimouse Yes the Square is symbolism for the Planet Saturn but in truth its really a Cube but in two dimensions it can only be a square. This is the root of 2 and this is why you always see the squaring of the circle in symbolism all around you. This is the male dominance over the feminine circular root of five. Saturn's color is black symbolically and this is why the most cloaks and hats are black as he's also the Judge symbolised by the number 11, the reaper of souls. Study Cestui Que Vie

  • Worldwide education is controlled by The Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, yes thats correct the Haberdashers and the Mercers. Today and very soon this will be pure indoctrination for World Citizenship and nothing else. I know for a fact that they want a populace two thirds dumber than they already are today if you can imagine that. Computers will do everything and no one will be allowed to read, the computers will all be pictures/symbols with touchscreen and audio spoken with no words!

  • Irritating voice.

  • perfect... keep waking up people ... Shes on fire and ready to rage... Hope this spreads like a wild fire..

  • This young lady is briliant. I wish I had insight like hers at a young age. I'm going to repost this video. Peace

  • E X C E L L E N T ! ! !

  • You are a true HERO...Peace

  • Genius Status.

  • Shows she's really thinking! Should give us hope.

  • Excellent video; this girl deserves the medal of Honor; I applaud her. You will be a leader as you already are...stay yourself for what's ahead.

  • Excellent video; this girl deserves the medal of Honor; I wish I could be her friend.

  • i just did officer recruiting for the military. the girl is right. college is a money-making racket. there are dozens with massive student debt waiting tables and pouring coffee. Even the ones that make a lot OWE a lot. The millenials are screwed. They were duped into sending everyone with a pulse to college. Student loans can almost NEVER be discharged, and once you get behind, you are DONE. Fees, penalties, etc. It starts in high school, as they are graded by how many they send to college.

  • My degree got me a job that pays 200K a year and I know I wouldn't have got this job without my degree. My education brought me the skill set I required to perform my job better than anyone else.

  • @chadobomber You're missing the point of the speech.

  • @chadobomber I didn't know puppets were worth 200k a year...

  • Why does someone so smart still talk like a dumb girl? I hate dumb girl voice.

  • Rock on, lady :) I couldn't agree more with you. My dad is a teacher and he has been frustrated over the same things as you listed in your speech. Not to mention special interest groups wanting to re-write the history books to be less offensive and so on. Brainwashing indeed. I'm so glad you figured it out and broke out of the hall of mirrors. I do believe you have found your path even though you may not know it. Stay inspired and fresh in all you do and you'll be given the keys. Get ready.

  • Look up the Prussian School system.

  • She has a point.

Thing is, in this market, the bankers only want consumers -- People who are able to shop like zombies. If corporations need talent, they now shop globally. For crap jobs, they don't need expensive white workers -- they relocate to low-wage countries. All we need in the US is dumb shoppers, who eat, consume, buy, purchase. Alot like a fish that just keeps eating if there is food in front of it.

Her speech is her frustration. Nothing will change with the bankers in charge.

  • The best thing is how gradual her speech is - she starts off quite light, you almost think she will turn it around and start complimenting her college as she 'should'. But instead it just gets more aggressive, more passionate, more intense, and the whole atmosphere changes when you listen to it from one minute in to when you do at six minutes in.

    Extraordinary.

  • Stop treating school as unpaid job training.

  • Bravo! Very brave of you young lady to speak the truth.

  • She will be pursuing a degree in Philosophy most likely or some other completely useless degree.

Welcome to the real world little girl. Life sucks, you have to do shit you don't like and guess what...you get up the next day and do it again and again until you die.

Her parents must by hippies who drive a Prius.

To quote Eric Cartman. "Sounds like a bunch of tree huggin' hippie crap to me."

  • @BrauckMan So you are basically exactly what she is speaking out against. Drowning yourself in disgust and suppressing your dreams. To quote Eric Cartman. "NO KITTY! THAT'S MY POT PIE!"

  • @BrauckMan YOU are one of the adult sheeple in the video that was squirming and rudly talking during her speech. YOU are part of the American problem.

Never heard so much TRUTH come out of the mouth of a teenager. NEVER.

  • @MelTX1 Sadly... if she didn't have the label "valedictorian" she would simply be just another conspiracy theorist or slacker

  • @thejojoshabadoo You said that right... "Sadly...."

  • @thejojoshabadoo that's what I was thinking

  • @thejojoshabadoo SO FUCKING TRUE! And it's not only sad, but incredibly infuriating that in society no one takes you seriously if you're "young and dumb" or a bum. Those are usually the ones with all the knowledge about how the world really works.

  • @DavidAMIs Those outside the system will never be taken seriously but this girl... she is in the system with good ideas, she can make a change if she has the desire and bravery to do so but she has some huge battles to fight

  • @BrauckMan you, sir, are an idiot.

  • WOW!! I knew all this, but it's awesome to see a valedictorian say it!

  • As she finished, tears literally came to my eyes. BRAVO!

  • I became a teacher, because I wanted to lead children through the process of discovery & questioning. I left teaching after three years, because it became clear that public school cobbles students & teachers and prevents them from achieving those goals. My own kids have never been to school. We've homeschooled instead. My kids are excited by learning, pursue private interests, ask questions, share what they've learned, & are several grades beyond where they "should" be. I've never regretted it!

  • @annilita Well done. That clanging bell blasting out just as I started to understand a subject or was getting into it, is something your children have been spared.

  • every school should have "the peoples history" as required reading..

  • Beautiful!

  • I have to disagree with the comment below. I don't think the administration is uncomfortable. I think they completely agree with her. I am a teacher in Florida and we have some pretty strict standardized tests here. You fail, and you're retained. (held back) The state implements those tests, not the principals or the teachers. We hate teaching to the test, and we fight it all we can, but no one listens to teachers. We are so glad to have another voice.

  • well she certainly did not learn this by going to school

  • If I gave a speech like this at my high school graduation, I would have been cut off about 4 minutes into it.

  • Wow, just wow. :)

  • She's not my daughter, but I couldn't be more proud. Looks like someone wasn't paying attention in class because they were too busy thinking for themselves. Great Job!

  • WE'VE GOT ONE THAT CAN SEE!!!!!!

  • very good!!!! It's kinda funny to watch the "administration" sitting behind her getting that uncomfortable realization about what she is saying. And I am afraid that next year they will insist on final approval over the speeches at graduation.

  • right on

  • nWo!!!!!!!! OMG!!!

  • wow i got a tear in eye this is PRICELESS!

  • It's true. I learned more after graduating high school 16 years ago than I would have learned in college. I attempted to graduate college, but realized that I'm better off now than I would be in the near future, when there are fewer jobs and more people with the same degree competing for them. Additionally, there's also the financial black hole of debt.

I'm making equally as much money with the company I'm currently working for than I would be if I had a degree, and there r still opportunities.

  • ZION jew objective of population brainwash and submission exposed!

  • She has the wisdom of a 50 year old. Just listen to what she said around 6:20.

  • Well, you definitely didn't take many classes in public speaking, but you have good insight and good instincts. I hope your message is heard by those in a position to do something about it.

  • I love this girl.

  • @ZionTheCorgi i bet you weren't valedictorian. so none of that matters.

  • As a teacher, you have no idea how happy I am to see this!

  • ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!

  • MAXIMUM TROLLING

  • "Get out as soon as possible"

That is the new paradigm. School in its current form is a disgrace to the joy that learning can be.

  • So what's the solution? No solutions, only complaints.

  • @schin98 Exactly. People are good at pointing out flaws but not realizing that the system is a lot more complicated then it seems.

  • @schin98 Exactly. People are good at pointing out flaws but not realizing that the system is a lot more complicated then it seems.

  • @schin98 You are right. We shouldn't complain unless we can fix it.

  • @schin98 You're asking for solutions from the students who are supposed to be learning what they need to do their jobs.

Right now, there are people whose job it is to teach these kids, THEY are responsible for the solution, not the students.

I don't tell my customers "Stop complaining, fix it", and I'm sure you wouldn't do the same, especially if that customer was your kid.

  • @mikeandyholloway "Right now, there are people whose job it is to teach these kids, THEY are responsible for the solution, not the students."

That's the thing, it's everybody's job, if student is smart enough, he has to speak up. The girl did her part and for the love of God I hope she continues, but her voice will drown if everybody around will look for someone else to fix the problem: students at teachers, teachers at supervisor, supervisor at another supervisor and all the way to President.

  • @schin98 Her solution is that other people will fix it.

  • @schin98 , she's an 18 year old kid! She's done well to identify the problem as well as she did. Now that she's done so, why don't YOU come up with a solution?

  • Laughing and clapping... I don't think most of the people actually listened to what she had to say. :(

  • Good rant.

  • Comment removed

  • @leconcurrent1 Wow... Just wow...

  • @leconcurrent1 please, next time, think about what you are typing. This was a SPEECH, not a public announcement. You just wasted my time.

  • Proficiency testing glorifies the test as the ultimate measure of success in school. Parents wanted this kind of accountability; parents can get rid of it. But they don't want to. The creative teachers gave up in disgust and left. You could have trained monkeys administering all the tests now and in some schools they practically do that. If you want change in the schools, stop destroying the schools.
